Breaking down the elements of STAY ALIVE by Jungkook feat Suga, would be incredible. With Jungkooks top tier vocals and layers, along with Sugas outstanding production. Its a match made in heaven

Jungkook is the artist who can perfectly put emotions in the songs he sings. He is just so talented and can sing all the songs in his album anytime, anywhere...no problem. Unlike other singers who can just do studio versions but don't give their own songs justice when singing live. You should watch his Weverse live when he sang the songs from his album live while sitting down in his home. His raw vocals are just effortlessly beautiful.

I appreciate music differently when you take it apart like this, and I really appreciate it! I think the simplicity makes this song effective. The whole thing is a single thought, really. Delicate production choices and that impossibly breathy vocal delivery really focus on the heart of the emotion. There's no movement, the song isn't a story, so they build energy in production and then bring it back, almost to where it started. We're caught in a feeling that is, to many of us, deeply familiar. They add hope in the visuals, bringing in color, which I thought was a nice touch. Jungkook outdid himself on the vocal - that breathy vibrato is such a heartbreaking sound, almost like the voice is failing with emotion, but he's doing it intentionally and consistently and I've spent half an hour trying to make that sound with no luck 😂 plus his English pronunciation is really beautiful. He sang a bit of this live for ARMY but changed it to "I'm gonna love you." 😂 Sweet man.

There are a few BTS songs that would be SO cool to hear this way: Louder Than Bombs, Lie by BTS/Jimin (the music is basically orchestral and classically trained musicians ALWAYS love it!), First Love by BTS/Suga (the song is written about his love of piano), and Awake by BTS/Jin also has interesting instrumentation that might be fun to separate.

I hesitated to subscribe because most of your reactions were Jimin this and Jimin that, without the rich analysis you just did on this one. Please don't get me wrong; he has a really unique voice! This is such a brilliant idea to show us the different track lines, the vocal stripped and all. Thank you for that! I was just thinking, it'd be such an interesting strategy from Hybe if they wouldn't just release all the different remixes and collab versions of a BTS or member's solo song, but to release the stripped down vocals to the fans. Then perhaps run competitions for ARMY to do remixes, and release an ARMY best of single mix. That'd align with Hybe's mission statement neatly, which is "We believe in music".
