I think that they are both victims of war and I can tell that Anang had his own trauma and has to deal with his own healing and I pray that God will bring complete healing to them both. So happy for the married couple...

I was so extremely happy the husband and wife of 33 yrs were able to forgive and on work on the relationship again. God Bless them and keep love alive by helping and doing things together.🌹🌹💖🙏

Ayik is beyond traumatised!!! He still needs a lot to heal, if he ever does.... but most importantly he needs support and love, he needs time, he needs closure. I hope he finds freedom, true freedom!! Mentally and spiritually.

That man has seen so much horror that he couldn’t even be read through his eyes. Very strange that it’s the man that was tortured as a boy, who is haunted by and experienced all that pain continues to feel. He keeps his emotions, his humanity. Ayik is an outstanding human being. He’s stronger than fear.

So heartbreaking what they do to these kids , imagine he saw his parents and 2 brothers killed forced to join the army no wonder he doesn't show emotion ,what a traumatic thing for kids to go through, I hope they cam heal and mend all those broken fences

War is terrible it needs to be outlawed. The sad thing when the tribes of South Sudan were first explored they found that the people men, women and children would just sit for hours hugging listening to each others heartbeats...... Imagine doing this to such beautiful people. Sadly the war was caused for resources in a peaceful place except for tribal war but not with guns . I knew a man who was kidnapped in Angola and forcef to fight he said it was the same as blood diamond the film. He was so traumatised. This is beautiful, he really begged for forgiveness. He showed real humility in his words and actions. They could really help the world by speaking on their experiences together.❤❤❤❤❤ This is beautiful

My Lord, it was so touching with the soldiers. It just broke my heart. I’m so glad he told him everything and let it out and not just swept it up under the rug. They were both victims.😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

Pfff the symbolism of Ayik first with his head down, and at the end of this standing tall. I see a lot of walls in the eyes of his agressor, but im sure if they are broken down there is also a little hurt child.

This is Kwnny This made me cry many tears.I love all South Sudanese people. My best friend Nyandwel is gone. May Gid bless tge Dinkas and Nuers and all the other groups in South Sudan.. l miss you Anok and Miyom and Bolis and Santino. I will visit South Sudan one day if God wills it.

He didn't display a lot of emotion, but when he mentioned not being able to sleep at night, I got the impression he genuinely sorry, and he understands the importance of taking this step in asking for forgiveness.

The men’s names are Ayik & Anyang. I didn’t see your observation, at all. I made my unbiased decisions on facts & not emotions. I took Anyang’s facial structure into account & the fact that he did have tears in his eyes. Afterwards, he was shaken. When they spoke, he hung his head & put his head in his hand. He reached out & repeatedly asked for forgiveness (as is their custom) in English & their Language. Ayik is expressive...heartfelt. Anyang is stoic. 2 different men. Two different coping mechanisms. Bother were CHILDREN thrust into a demonic regime. I saw forgiveness & healing for both men. I trust the Ayik’s observation.

That was so emotional between Ayik and Anya. I was crying so much and couldn't see their faces. Forgiveness is a powerful strength and can mend so many things. Im glad that they are trying to build a friendship. Im not forgetting that when they were both soldiers in Sudan, they were both frightened children.

It is the work of God they are meant to be at the same Country, same Church. To be sorry n to be forgiven. God works in mysterious way. Anyak was young boy too who lost both his dad n mom n his siblings. He has no other choice but to take orders.. im glad he was forgiven.

That woman made a terrible mistake breaking up her marriage instead of seeking counseling or talking to her husband she just abruptly pulled the rug from under him. I think social media/magazines/talk shows have a lot to do with glorifying divorce and normalizing it. Many platforms with women on them always talk of divorce in an delusionally empowering way. But it's not easy to replace someone just like that, especially if you had no real issues like abuse or cheating. I hope as women we learn to communicate, and filter out the noise from the world. The husband is still really hurt, hopefully he can also heal from this. I hope Ayang also embarks on his own healing journey. You can see that Ayik has really put in the work. May they grow from strength to strength ❤
