Equalizer 2 is a 2018 action thriller film starring Denzel Washington as Robert McCall, a former CIA agent who uses his skills and resources to help people in need. In this sequel, McCall faces his past when he learns that his friend and former colleague Susan Plummer (Melissa Leo) has been murdered by a group of rogue agents. McCall sets out to avenge her death and expose the corruption within the CIA, while also dealing with a young neighbor (Ashton Sanders) who is involved with a local gang.
