Former Texas Football Coach Gary Patterson Will Make Dave Aranda and Baylor Winners Again!

There is still a section of Baylor fans who are uncomfortable with Gary Patterson wearing green and gold, but head coach Dave Aranda loves having him around. Aranda says Patterson is able to bring a valuable perspective and, I suspect, Patterson is not afraid to push back on the head coach if he believes it is right.
Scott Drew has filled out the rest of his coaching staff with an eye towards making the 2024-25 roster official in the next week or two. It will be a very different looking bench next year!

I WANT the guy who beats me, not the guy that I beat. GP shouldn't have won half the games that he won against Baylor. He OUTCOACHED and OUT PREPARED the other teams.

Dunno about Aranda and Patterson combining their opposing approaches and applying the result to the defense. Seems like the left hand will continue to be oblivious to what the right hand is doing. The potential for disaster is obvious. Aranda seems to be closer to the exit door than ever before. PLEASE don't consider Patterson for head coach at Baylor. Spavital, being offensive minded, should be considered for the position. Patterson left tcu amid conflict with both the players and the university. Everyone wanted the "great" coach gone and there must have been some solid reasons behind his departure. The sooner he's no longer at Baylor the better. IMHO of course.
