Amongst the many FD drivers that have come and gone, Forrest is probably the only one I felt sad about. Everytime he drove, the crowd went wild. Dude had style regardless if it was a mistake or not. He was a showman through and through and one of the best to ever be in the sport period.

Man this is gold. Long format Joe Rogan style is right. Sometimes I feel like these guys don't know they are their own type of 1%. Over 300 million Americans and look at how small drifting is and how these guys are doing what so many people will never know or experience. I love drift week, thank you Aaron and everyone involved for making this happen. And for everyone that is on drift week stay positive even if shit isn't going perfect. A day at an event like this even if your car is broke down is still better than a day at a miserable job. Keep Killin it guys

Braddah Forrest still the same. Was always the cool dude. Everything he said is true about his humble beginnings. He was the first to do the sr20 swap, probly one of the first in the US. This was the late 90s. I remember hanging with all those guys, Forrest, Ross, Alex, among others. Was a small import racing community here. We were big into Pro import drags. Had some of the fastest hondas in the nation back then. Everyone helped eachother out, wrenching, selling parts, motor swaps. He even took care of us when he came back for visits. Proud of what Forrest has accomplished up there. Git it!

Met Forrest back on that day he showed up in his rhd one is FOB from Hawaii. That car was a master piece. His driving showed as well. He single handedly changed the way people went about at top drift competing. He set the bar to such a high standard, not only with driving but quality of build. Till This day he’s still the same Forrest I met that fateful day at willow springs balcony for top drift. Hope to see him compete one day again. This was a great video.

His last drift comp at Hawaii Raceway Park, I remember telling him he had everything to go pro. He had the mechanical and technical build skills to make amazing drift cars, and the driving skills to go balls to the wall. Very proud to see him still out there ripping it up even if it's not currently FD. I am developing a new track here in Hawaii called Circuit Hawaii. Super happy to watch this interview. I'm not the "poster" type, but when I first started watching FD two drivers really stuck out to me. Tuerck mainly because of his personality and his Tuercked series (high energy, bringing back allot of 2000s skate culture vibes), and Forrest for his driving. Dudes driving was/is insane and the style his cars have is just beautiful. I genuinely was abit upset when he left FD. Was happy though to see him compete in super drift challenge this year.
