FINALLY THE SNIPERS ARE BEING MESSED WITH, but reducing the sprint movement was stupid as hell. I was already complaining about how I feel like you should be able to sprint longer and now I can't even run fast. Edit: One thing I don't like about the snipers is the bullet drop being more. I already felt the sniper rifle bullet drop was a little much and should have been reduced by minimal, but now its even more. iffy change IN MY OPINION!

Slower movement speed makes the game more strategic. You cant just bail your self out of bad situations running insanely fast.

@@ancellery6430having fast movement doesn’t make the game less strategic. Look at the guy in the video dude is just pushing everyone and killing them. Slower movement makes it harder to do what the Gameplay is doing. Fortnite is fun because it is more of a fast paced game

snipers are really annoying in solo since its possible for your entire game to end randomly whereas in teams modes you might get revived/ have teammates left to clutch up for you

@@sarsvfxbecause they’re so easy to use close-medium range. I’m sniping people while they’re gliding, grappling mid air, in vehicles, close range box fighting. It’s completely ridiculous. You could never use the old bolt action or heavy sniper like that

one thing you may have missed is the slide speed reduction. You now get 0 extra momentum sliding down hills, off of ur glider or the grapple blade. It's now one speed fits all... another skill gap nerf for the bots

You also cannot slide cancel fluently anymore by just holding slide. Now after one slide it kicks you back to jogging pace so you basically need more inputs if you want to slide cancel. I don’t understand why they did this but 🤷🏽♂️

That smg buff was probably why I felt like I was getting aimbotted by the mythic smg through my walls and stuff. Nice to know. I'm pretty sure it does more build damage than player damage too.

If they change movement one more time, it better be reverting it to chapter 1-4 movement. Not one person prefers the new movement over the old movement.

the sprint decrease is fine but leave the energy regenerate the same. apex unlimited sprint is the best

Really happy about the sniper changes. It’s going to make it feel a lot more rewarding to hit shots. I feel like it’s way too easy to hit headshots atm

First thing i did was throw a crash pad turn invis then sprint into it and went flying invis . This is going to be an interesting update 😅

Great video summing up everything in the patch note for this update 🔥 For me it feels like Epic is trying to kill the battle royale modes. Imo, 98% of the things in this update are either bad or useless. Nerfing movement in a shooting game where being mobile is a must is stupid. I mean, we went 4 whole chapters with the same movement and nobody was complaining. Now build mode (which is what I only play) feels super awkward and not so fun. This update basically included three shii ahh items, nerfs that don't make sense (I understand snipers although I don't agree with it) and a whole bunch of skins I won't buy. What a shame.

no shot that this fox setting is only for sprinting i think it has to be a bug. If it were just for sprinting, it most likely would say that within the description, but instead just says fov for gameplay. idk just me coping but really hope they either acknowledge it as a bug or change it to be for everything.

I was getting bored of snipers, they made it easy to win but it was getting repetitive, also the enforcer buff makes it usable.

Honestly, the sniper change was good. I like carrying snipers from time to time, but AS SOON AS I HIT ELITE, I was getting sniped every game, and I mean sniped at least once EVERY GAME. I’m not saying that they were cancer, but it is pretty meta defining when brought up to more skillful players.

something about ranked right now is off, allot of npc's and also bad players. I was stuck champion for sum time had 22% and today got on and just 4-5 games got to unreal like it was a casual game.

I don’t mind the snipers, it’s just the movement that makes the game, especially for an OG player like myself, practically unplayable. I haven’t tried out the new update, but if the movement change is as bad as was the first time they implemented it, then I could see myself finally Fortnite up for something like Warzone or Valorant. On a side note though, #19 on trending, woohoo!🙌❤️

It was good for people who just started the game yes, but for people who were already familiar with the game it was a major L . The content creators and pros are not viable opinions because they either get paid to play the game or promote it, so their ideology of the movement is good is prob just bull.

A thing u missed the burst smg know shoot 3 bullets instead of 4 thats a big change for the w-key players who carry that smg instead of a assault riffle

It always shot 3 bullets but you might have been confused because all the other burst smgs shot 4 bullets in past seasons. Also there is a reason why it has 27 bullets in the default mag. You get exactly 9 burst before a reload. If it shot 4 you whould get 6 bursts of 4 and a bursts of 3 which would be very inconsistent

Does anybody know if they did anything with the sprint after sliding, Before when you sprinted and starting to slide then canceled the slide you would automatically start sprinting again but now you need to press the sprint buttom again? otherwise you will just start running instead of sprinting.

Aussie. Can you advocate for a linear/expo option for both regular sensitivity and build sensitivity? Controller players need a buff. If we could build/edit on linear, and aim/ads on expo, that would be incredible and not OP.

They messed with replays, they removed the markers on the timeline of when you died or got kills/knocks. Why? Who tf asked for that? Still can't edit when a teammate is knocked near your builds. Sniper killfeeds still show "no-scope" after a quickscope No one asked for movement changed. They say reverted to Chapter 4. This feels way worse. Still can't use C5 weapons/movement in creative Epic is on Christmas vacation cuz ain't no way!

All epic cares about is trying to make the skill gap go down so the game can be more noob friendly so they can get more money. that’s the point of them changing the movement to make the game more slow paced but they realized it didn’t quite work how they thought it would so now they decided to reduce the sprint speed as well in attempts to make the game even more slow pace.

Fortnite also nerfed being able to Slide after Sprint Jumping or Sprinting, because everytime I try my Sprint is cancelled. You used to be able to continue sprinting after sprint jumping then sliding.

I never play BR anymore, it’s unplayable in my opinion. Only time I hop on is to fill a slot with friends, I never look forward to playing BR anymore, it’s been like that since about chapter 2. So it’s always annoying when they mess up creative, seeing as I don’t like the decisions they’ve been making with BR, and get terrible performance.

I don’t want an fov slider. I play between 90-95 on every game cause it feels comfortable, but I’ll immediately have a disadvantage against players running quake pro fov

It would be nice if fortnite wouldnt have messed with movement to begin with. Its like having to relearn my limits over and over. Im uninstalling if they continue. Its insulting to players at this point.
