actually it's a cleaver.... but ya... me needs one as well... HEY just some FYI... go to Amazon and look up the ACCUSHARP... man that thing made all my knifes in my kitchen that my kid and wife destroyed the edge on the granite counter tops.. like new or better than new....(not kidding) it is amazing for sharping knifes.. better than even the 150.00 electric ones... and it's fast...and cheap... best sharpener I ever had

Whats the purpose of that? Draining the water by using a towel to soak it up?
@bigchino36473 жыл бұрын
Like why do we want to remove the water?
@lisahinton96823 жыл бұрын
@@bigchino3647 You want to remove the water so the dish isn't too soupy. However, simply turn the heat a little bit higher and the liquid will evaporate off, leaving the particles suspended in the liquid behind. Using a paper towel to remove excess moisture, or earlier in the video where he used it to wipe out the pan after sautéing the vegetables, is a bad idea (any professional chef will tell you this) because along with the moisture and oil, you're removing flavor that is suspended in that moisture and oil. So, simply turn the heat a tiny bit higher if you need to remove excess moisture, even pushing the food to one side of the pan and tilting the pan so the liquid is over the heat source, if you want to evaporate the moisture off. And sautéing the meat in the oil used to cook the vegetables would have amped up the flavor in the finished dish, keeping all that lovely flavor from the garlic, onions, and bell peppers.

"Go around like this, don't measure, don't measure you can do it, good enough 😉" I'm laughing because you remind me of my Nana and Mama. They never saw a need to write down recipes because the measurements changed each time. I grew up watching so they saw "no need for wasted measurements" especially when there's that moment when everyone is to agree that the food is better than everyone else's, including themselves & the last time they cooked this dish.

RECIPIE SCORE: 8/10 that recipe is damn good. I always wondered what to do with ground turkey. and this recipe creates the turkey such that its hard to tell the difference between the ground turkey and ground beef. the onion garlic and bell pepper add the perfect amount of filler to the turkey and in a burrito even better than beef. I give this recipe 8/10 only because its missing some shredded cheese and something spicy. I added the left overs to some fried canned potatoes to make like a hash is also real good.

i love the way you use your knife and where can i find one? Seriously every knife i owned was not near as sharp as that and get dull rather quicly
@lisahinton96823 жыл бұрын
Knives get dull with use. There is a thing called a knife sharpener. Get one and learn to use it. You'll have your knives for a lifetime. Also, as soon as you're done using your knife, wash it by hand and put it away. Don't put it in the sink. Don't leave it on the counter. Don't put it in the dishwasher. I got my first knife at 19 and still have it at 56. It is as sharp as ever, but I sharpen it regularly, as needed, and have never not taken care of it. Hope this is helpful info. I am rooting for you.

I've had the older Morningstar crumbled meat replacement, a Beyond burger, Gardenburger, and the beyond ground meat. For something like this I would probably get the Gardenburger patties and just crumble them up after cooking them. With all his seasonings I would taste just fine.

it's painfully obvious this youtuber has actually zero cooking skills. 1) salt is not added at the end but in the beginning to draw out moisture from vegetables and condenses flavor. 2) if there isn't a nice sizzle you're not stir frying 3) you never cook high heat with non-stick pans so much to learn he has
