I was in foster care my whole life. Never adopted. My first mom got me when I was a month old. She was a little to old to be allowed to adopt me. She died when I was 6. After that it was just down hill until I was 18 and kicked out of the system. But I made it. :) 24 now.

Every child I wanted to adopt they sent back home to a crackhead again. I am not giving up hope though it's getting hard to keep seeing them leave when they don't want to go.

I think that the family courts/child services system should provide education/resources to adoptive parents and foster parents who are allowing and supporting visitation between the adoptive/foster children and the biological parents, brothers, sisters, mentors, other family members who want to be a part of that child's life, instead of breaking bonds with the children's other family members. Adoptive/foster children's visitation rights with their biological parents and syblings, should not be involentary taken away, unless the child doesn't feel safe. Alot of adoptive parents and foster parents, coach the children, for selfish reasons, such as, wanting to be in complete control, maybe the adoptive/foster parents don't like the child's biological parents or other family. Because a child may need to be adopted or in foster care, does not mean the state, county, courts, adoptive/foster parents have any right, to strip that minor child from visiting or communicating with their biological family.

And for the adoptive/foster parents who are so concerned for a child's safety during visits, the adoptive/foster parents should be supporting court ordered supervised visits, and not involentary taking any child's court ordered supervised visits because a CPS case or welfare check was called in on the adoptive/foster parents to sometimes, by the biological parents. Adoptive/foster parents, who do not emotionally support the child feelings or wishes, or a adoptive parent who is always degrading, cursing, insulting, and publicly broadcasting and humiliating any child's parents, should not have a privladge of adopting any child. Violating a childs privacy, regarding sensitive information that is in the childs family case, that adoptive/foster parents, social workers had access to should not be abused by, exposing the child and family background and medical records for such a wide global audience, such as the internet and other social media platforms. Bullying an adoptive or foster child's biological family, carries just as much damage emotionally, mentally, depression, suicidal thoughts to the adoptive or foster child.
