Found a SOTF Switch in my 6.7 Powerstroke

Surprisingly, I found a 5 position switch on the fly switch hidden behind the dash of my 6.7 after owning it for a year. In this video I go through some of the tests I did with the different tunes, show some different driving clips, and share my thoughts on the newly discovered switch.
If anyone has some other ideas for simple tests I can do to get more data on the different tunes, let me know in the comments.
I still have no idea what company did these tunes or where the truck was tuned.

2013 f250. I have a SCT tuner with the 5 sotf switch. So mine goes like this… 1-Stock, 2-40hp, 3-80hp, 4-120hp and 5-180hp. I was also told that two “hotter” tunes 4 and 5 would give you better fuel mileage for daily driving if you stay off the peddle and drive it normal/easy. I also took mine on a road trip and 18.6mpg on the 4th switch/120hp.

Typically with the SOTF setups 1 is stock w/deletes. 2. is 70hp tow 3. Is 100hp 4. 150hp and 5. 200hp. At least that's how all of mine have been and how my 16' F350 is currently!

Is it wired into the rail temp.sensor? The shift firmness is already adjusted with the tunning and each position of the switch is just adding more fuel. Also I dynoed my 14 with the turbo retrofit and HPFP from ford and tune 1 is 440 tune 3 is 540 and tune 5 is 566 to the wheels. Ran out of air 😪

Looks like an install possibly from No Limits Fab if it was it will have the name in the bottom of the switch on the green motherboard

It appears to be very similar to the EFI Live. I had efi live in a 2012 duramax and it was 1+2 tow tune,3 economy, 4 fast, 5 to the moon. I assume your is something similar.

Yea that seems to add up with how the truck was performing. I’ll have to do some research on that tuner. Thanks for the comment 👍

I have a similar situation. Just found the switch. When your in tune 1 is the switched all the way to the left?

Kinda same here too, I bought my 12 6.7. And it’s my first diesel and I noticed it is dpf and egr deleted but idk about def tho. It most likely tuned I think bc I read that you have to tune them when you delete them but idk 🤷🏾‍♂️. Nice truck bro mines on a 6in lift and on 40s 👍

Nice man! Surprised 40s fit! You'd be running a check engine light if it wasn't tuned, so if nothing is popping up on your dash you have a tune on the truck. Also easy way to tell if it's def deleted is to check and see if the tube where you would pour in your def fluid actually goes anywhere. It's the blue cap right next to where you pour diesel in. Basically if it is cut off you know you are def deleted as well.

@@dsmotors176 yeah all I did was a bumper spacer and minor trimming on the back fender, no rubs at all even at full lock. They are 40x15.5sx22s on 22x10.5s BMFs. And yeah there’s no check engine light or any light on the dash. I haven’t checked the tube for the def yet gonna give it a look. Thanks 👍

pretty sure it's the same tune should be a 0-200 and the sotf switch will change the fuel rate, from what i understand...could be wrong i haven't messed with sotf much

I think maybe shoot an email to ez link and whoever else works with the 5 position switches and see if any of them have your vin on file. Would be nice to have that data logging stuff, as long as it’s not constantly leaching your info/data to whoever. Ps was a fun little chuckle seeing and knowing the roads you were driving, we go up your way to “go to the city” lol.
