Some of those quarters appear to be newer design quarters....lending even more evidence to the BS-O-METER. I'm no expert on slots but I'm fairly certain skill stops were never used in U.S. Casinos. The hopper on my IGT sPlus always had about 200.00 in it and there was room for more.

@@rbailey225 believe it or not there were a handful of places in America that did use skill stop some even Vegas legal skill stops, seems like u know something about them tho I have a Facebook group (Everything Pachislo) for anyone who wants to join Ps I would’ve opened that for free and let u keep the quarters just not to beat it up but glad ur at least using it and didn’t just toss , these are becoming more and more rare

I used to own that exact same slot machine. Bought it for my man cave for a couple hundred bucks, new. Came with tokens, but could convert to quarters. This machine is 100% not a machine you’d find in an actual casino. Just a fun man cave item.

Yeah, and how do we really know he didn't just load it up with quarters and pretend he just "found" it. I highly doubt that machine would have been filled with quarters, it's not a casino machine, they are always setup for tokens.

Guaranteed, old slot machines are expensive. What a dumbass he was to cut it open. I would have hired a locksmith to open it, then sold the slot for $$$. He got $200 in quarters and screwed up a $500-1000 machine.

I'm not saying this isn't real but these are Japanese machines. Called (Skill stop). I used to buy them by the hundreds. Some are extremely fancy they only speak in Japanese. Some have full LCD screens. You have to convert them to except quarters which is very easy to do. Usually they just come with tokens.. but these machines are not allowed in the US as gambling machines. In fact some states completely outlaw them.

Never heard that before however back in the 1920s till the late 70s early 80s pinball machines arcade games and other gaming machines were banned and most states at the time banned them do to them being associated with gambling.

We did something similar with our adventure group. We bought an old one, filled it with some coins and they found a way to get in it. They truly felt like they found treasure. We should’ve dirtied the money a little because some of the kids figured it out :-)

Lol that's not a "casino" slot machine you claim. I am pretty sure you just bought it played it a couple times until the hopper got full and chopped it up. Looked to "new" until you broke into it. Also those quarters where still very shiny on some of them. Why would a casino slot machine be that small also.

The machine itself is worth some money too. Just like the Kmart mirrors, checkout lights and toilets and things. People will buy those as a relic. So don't smash or demolish but remove and resell 👍🏻

Also I'm quite active in the urbex community for about fifteen years and know thst collectors are willing to pay for these items. But you must have traded in those too because you know so well.

I am skeptical of this find. Not due to lack of video finding it, that doesn’t matter as I could easily be staged anyhow. I am curious as to why the quarter tray was dusty underneath the quarters? I used to be a commercial plumber and do know how dust can get everywhere though, regardless. I’ve built a massive casino and have found those guys to be on point with their equipment. In WA, where I am at, every machine is registered with the state. This is due to our machines actually being pull tabs that are ran like slots. I have a difficult time believing that they left the machine. The money is whatever. I would believe finding a stack of 100’s than a machine no matter what was inside it, empty or not. Just my thoughts and criticism. I am sure you get a lot of this, but know that it is entertaining any way you look at it. Ty for your content!

Don't you think I would be easier to count all the coins together then divide by 4. This would give you the total quicker than individual counting dollars. Good find, check dates of coins you may have some silver in them.

usually in pachislo skill stop slot machines, they only accept tokens in their hoppers and reject money unless the coin acceptor is modded. this is why i also doubt that had actual money in there if it was truly sealed and that money was added as a trick before filming this.
