In this video, my beautiful fiancé and I head back out to the lake and try to look for the two young lady's phones that I was not able to find the day before! Luckily, the current was a lot slower since we made sure to get out there fairly early! However, before I was able to find the two phones that I was originally looking for, I ended up finding another one! I was originally a little let down because it wasn't the one I was looking for right then but it turned out to have the craziest story of them all!
About a year ago, I got a call from my brother who was in the delivery room with his wife and delivering my nephew, a call that I thought was going to be him letting me know my nephew was finally out. Instead it was my very excited brother letting me know his midwife had lost her phone in the lake and I needed to go try to find it! Well that's exactly what I tried to do the next day but ended up not being able to find it in the location I was given. A year later, I happened to find it while looking for the other two missing phones! I took it home, dried it out for a couple of days in silica beads and then threw it on the charger and it powered right on! The phone was locked but it had a unique home screen that I was able to share on my social media accounts and you guys were able to find the person in under an hour! Her name is Devonie and she was absolutely jaw dropped that I actually ended up finding her phone and getting it back to her a year later. Thank you to everyone who helped share the post and get her phone back to her!
