Great video, I’m currently making the switch from an Executive Chef to the tech world. Actively pursuing a isc2 CC cert and Sec+. I have been doing many hands on labs and study workshops that a good friend in the cyber security world has been mentoring me with. Thanks for the knowledge!

Loved this interview! Thank you both for inspiring me this year. At the beginning of July I had zero certifications. With the training and advice from the both of you I now have 9 certifications including Sec+, AWS SAA, and CISSP. With enough focus and drive we can all do it. What works for me is including certifications that also peaked my personal interests like AI or Security Blue Team, so it doesn't always feel like work. Excited to hear about your certification Jason. I look forward to taking it!

Wow this dude is amazing. Love the way he talks and explains things. I got goose bumps when he was talking about his boss coming in at 3:30pm on Friday telling him that he’ll be flying overseas rn to fix a breach! Ha. Hope I get to do that one day too. I wish the podcast was posted at the same time as this. I dont spend a lot of time on YT unless it's for studying, so I listen to podcasts while driving or working out. I got excited when I heard about the drawing and even stopped midrun to see the date it was posted. I got thrown off when he mentioned the holidays, but I saw it was posted last week (on spotify) so thought maybe i still had a chance. I was pretty disappointed when I got home and saw this was originally posted in December. Maybe just an idea for future episodes, if youre able to man. Great interview overall though! Dion has some great stuff and his practice tests helped me get my Net+

This video was super helpful! Currently I'm a software dev but I somehow decided to make a career pivot towards Cybersecurity. I just finished the second module of a 9-month cybersecurity program and let me tell you I've never been more passionate about something, it's super cool and I'm loving it even though it can get very frustrating from time to time. Thank you so much for making affordable certs, because the popular ones are priceeeey, specially when you don't have the cybersec salary yet.

This was a really great interview. I am really liking how different companies are coming out with new certifications. The NIST framework and other frameworks provide good information with the security plus and other certifications that have been here are good. However, with other companies putting out new certificates, there are aligned with new tech and new cyber security problems, they are helping more people who are coming into cyber security jobs.
