In today's video, I give you my top Four 1 v 1 Games to MASTER Real Game Scoring! These simple basketball scoring moves are super easy to implement for players at every level. By implementing these 1 v 1 scoring games into your game you can almost immediately skyrocket your shooting scoring and your overall basketball skill level!
My first 1 v 1 basketball game that I love to implement in practices and training sessions is, "Brooklyn Style 1 v 1". I love this type of 1 v 1 because it really simulates actual game movements. Transition scoring is the main focus so make sure you are getting downhill and really working on your separation moves to really score the ball most efficiently. Make sure you implement Brooklyn style 1 v 1 into your basketball workouts today!
My second basketball 1 v 1 game that I love to implement during workouts is, "kick and recover 1 v 1". This is a great game action 1 v 1 to really help you attack defenders that are closing out to you. Make sure always attack the defender's top foot to really get the best results with this 1 v 1 game. If you look at the best 1 v 1 scorers in the NBA think of guys like James Harden and Trae Young. Both players do a phenomenal job of attacking the top foot which allows them to get crazy separation.
My third 1 v 1 game is, "back balance 1 v 1" this game is super tough on the defense, but it really helps the offensive player understand how to get the defense moving early. By optimizing the way you attack initially you can really get great looks offensively. I always urge the player to use a lot of pump fakes, ball fakes, and jab steps to move the defense early, by doing so the offensive player will gain a huge advantage without even dribbling.
My last 1 v 1 game I love to use in basketball workouts is short court 1 v 1. This game is great for players that want to work on their cardio and their scoring ability all in one. Make sure you are going at game speed so when the time comes these moves will translate in actual game scenarios.
