It’s crazy because I met Stanley yearssssss ago on my college campus. I’ll never forget that he was with his child who was in a stroller at the time, pushing his child's stroller with one hand while slanging his books that he wrote in the other hand. I was so impressed to see a young man hustling legally by any means necessary (baby and all) that I had to stop and support him. His story is dope! We stayed in contact years later, he’s extremely intelligent and a dope entrepreneur. People are so quick to judge ..... some of the smartest people I know came out the hood, the ghetto, the projects, the slums , from the bottom 💯 Stay woke!

I'm from NYC n I love to watch vids about California. Its like the opposite of New York. N I've never been but I wanna go. I know it ain't all palm trees and weed and pretty bitches tho. Niggaz from NY wanna See what it looks like same as Cali niggaz wanna go to the Big Apple. I listen to a lotta cali music. It's just a different vibe n a lot more melody then New York music. But it's the environment. And I always wanted to sit in the same environment that some of my favorite songs was made in. Shout to the west coast. Yall got major love n respect on the East Coast. Neva forget that when u on our side of the map.

I meet Stanley a few years ago. He was doing his thing selling his books. I asked him if he would be a vendor at my “Paint and Sip with Jesus.” He showed up and his vibe was dope. He explained his back ground and how his books came about. Very interesting story that the world should hear. That day everyone was superly into his story we all bought his book. He was so fucking cool he signed everyone’s books on sight. Forever will have my respect & support 🙏🏾✊🏾

I'm obg j.bone from foe corner Bloc and it's low key in our section now cause banging has slowed down in Cali. It's not like the 80's & 90' when I me and my homies in my age group was banging. The violence my lil homies speaking on is our 80's and 90's generation up till 2008. Since then everything has slowed down. Gang member throughout L.A. county now of days are on meth, powder, pill, lean and other drugs. That the new bangers doing drugs. My generation we was banging in the 80's 90' over there so if u grew up over there or in long beach you knew what was going on in my section. Real crips in the foe corners blocs 6400. We still out here but we on money cause if it don't make money it don't make sense. But don't try us cause it real niggas still out here fasho fasho on bort Ave.

@@JoshTheTechnoShaman well for one we are a long beach set so we have to stay true to that in representation. Plus you got to understand CPT and l.b.c have a long history of not getting along. It's certain Compton set that showed us love and I got to admit cripping came to long beach in 1975 via bear foot pookie who started the e/s paybac crips. But we all know historically cripping started in L.a. so as far as the rules we all followed the model of Raymond Washington and tookie cause they set presedence. But when sets started forming we all had to represent who we we're and where we we're raised. But at one time nhcc, stcc, we're enemies of ours and we've had fisticuffs with other sets outside of long beach. At the same time alot of blocc crips showed us love out of CPT and some sets in l.a. but. But some l.b.c hood aligned with set like insane Hoover. But 4cbc have never aligned with no set except for o hoods and blvds back in the 80's 90's. But we've also clashed at times. I hope that answered your question

I'm back in nyc but I lived in La/long Beach like 2 years. I remember that hood store on pacific coast highway. Its different, but I like it. Even in the hood, they had oranges, lemons and manicure lawn. The only way you can tell is the bars on the window. I loved long Beach though
