A buddy of mine called. He had four tress that fell over in a storm and needed them cut down and processed. I'm all over it!
The trees are Alder and range in height from 60 to 100 feet tall. The trees sit at the edge of a creek and are surround by blackberry bushes. Everything went pretty good considering. That said, all my saws were running fat and fifteen minutes into the job I lost my screwdriver. Not too long after, the Farmsaw took a bath in the creek and was done for the day (you'll have to watch the video).
I don't normally wear chaps, but I did this day due to the blackberry bushes. It took me a bit to get used to them. I did end up wearing them all day.
I'm not a professional faller or arborist. I'm a firewood guy who loves running chainsaws, helping a buddy. Please remember that as you watch the video.
I hope you enjoy the video!
