Another day out bagging hills for my Peak 75 project. This time it was four tops from Edale...a day of Rocks, Bogs and battling with the wind, The wind seems to be following me around just lately, so apologies for the wind noise. 36 tops now done so almost half way.
The peak 75 is a list of hills/places in the Peak district national park that i have compiled for my own pleasure, allowing me to get out into this beautiful area and tick them off, a few are popular with walkers while most are rarely walked. Some i have visited many times and others that i had never heard of until i made this list...the ever growing list of places already visited are listed below...fancy a challenge? Why not join me and start ticking them off.

Nice one Steve. Excellent views from up there. I remember years ago rounding some sheep up off Horsehill Tor. We went up from Lee House up via Grain Clough . What a bloody slog that was. Excellent vlog as usual 👌

That steep climb was good exercise. Pleased the sun came out for you. Sandwiches and coffee with a great view sounds perfect. Stunning up there. Good to push yourself. Makes you feel so much better. Love those weather carved boulders in the Peak District. I was debating about doing Edale fell race yesterday but I decided to be good and spend time with my family. Great video, Steve.

Very nice day with plenty of miles and ups and downs! I think you’re getting these done really quickly too! Cool rounded rocks on that one hilltop, lots of wind and a bit of mud, great to see you don’t let that bother you. 11:08 - Kinder Low End is where I somehow managed to miss this top during Kinder Downfall fell race because I skirted it round to low ans the check point was there somewhere, I had to go back and find it. I will never forget now that fenced off hill.

Oh no, not another paid parking. Very annoying! Thats a very early start, worth it if you can beat the rain. Get that steep climb out the way to start. Very atmospheric on those tops. Ridiculous April weather! Sunshine on a Saturday on an empty Kinder Scout, brilliant. Work talk on top of a hill at a weekend, how rude! Cracking views in both directions. Ideal spot to stay young! Stumble at the Cairn! Very weathered now. Uncanny meet up with the hippy! Norfolk Suffolk divide! ❤

Afternoon folks...like you say Ridiculous April weather...yeah i pulled into the layby and saw the machine....i couldn't believe it, it's just a layby, big enough for a few cars, not like a proper Carpark..i drove off and parked somewhere else....a great day was had....cheers Steven

If there was an award for best landscape filming over Kinder, you have won it ...not got a clue why the gates have yellow latches now but we gave up guessing what the Peak Park was doing next years ago...I do think Moors for the Future is doing a stunning job up there though and had the pleasure to get to know them all when I worked at Edale tourist centre...The rangers were based there to...Said your last Peak 75 vid was the best, this one tops it...Cheers Les🙂👍

Loved the sound of the singing birds / skylarks, I agree they're so beautiful and the views around here were stunning. You sound like you really know this area well to be about to direct those hikers. The cairn was interesting too. No idea why the latches are painted yellow . That looked great ~ Anna

We did that climb up Kirk fell as a quick way to the top of Great Gable. Not so quick as we found out😂😂 Nothing wrong with a Norfolk Dumpling 😁 Enjoyed following along 👍

Can't believe they've made Barber Booth pay and display, bloody ridiculous. Well done on climbing Broadlee Bank, it sure looked a steep one, but worth it for once you're up on the tops. Those yellow latches are odd indeed, no idea what they're all about. Enjoyed hearing about the hippy 😂 Anyway another lovely walk Steve, all the best 👍

Great 10 miler Steven with brilliant views of the Peak District. No free parking 😡 I can’t remember work, so never talk about it. Nice lunchtime views. Couldn’t at times hear you Steven over the music and wind but whatever you said I fully concur. The laches are now all yellow in accordance with EU rules😡 Yes I’m still scrapping the windscreen on some mornings😡 Is spring/summer coming this year?

I know what you mean about steep hills and battling wind at the same time. We recently had the same challenges when away. Main thing is taken time on way up to regain breath. Brilliant clear film impressive shots even on dull days. Do you use a GoPro? Congrats on achieving 36tops. p.s.( I think the yellow latches may be made visible to see from other side of gate, a problem I frequently have of not seeing it.)
