Cadmium Orange
Cadmium Red
Yellow Ochre
Paynes Grey
Burnt Sienna

Dear Harriet, This is a wonderful tutorial. Once again, your drawing lessons and tips have made the most difficult (for me) part of watercolor seem achievable. This and mixing colors are the two parts of your books that I practice the most. Such a vital part of a good painting! Off topic to this video....I was absolutely delighted to see the Instagram story in which you painted my commissioned piece. I feel as though I have received the best gift from you. Hi Harriet! I just watched this tutorial. Can’t believe I missed it! Thank you for showing the various structures of dogs. I’m struggling to capture my Toy Australian Shepherd. She “looks” like a red and white fox! I think I’ll work on these dog shapes blended with the red fox and see what happens😊 There’s never a time not to paint animals or Christmas ❣️‼️

Thanks again Harriet, beautiful tutorial and I’ve been thinking of how to paint my dog who we sadly lost this year. He loved Christmas it was his favourite day of the year; used to get so excited at opening presents that one year he selected a few from under the tree on Christmas Eve! We soon learnt our lesson from that haha. I love what you said about adopt don’t shop, something I also hold dear to my heart; our last 3 dogs have been rescue dogs and we wouldn’t have it any other way ❤️

OMG!!! ❤️❤️❤️ These little Doggies are Absolutely Adorable! I simply cannot believe how easily you made the drawing you really broke it down for us and made it possible for me to try! It just amazes me at how such simple techniques that you add really makes the painting come to life - like the extra shadow you put in and the sweet little sweater - it almost makes me want to paint a whole bunch of what people call the “Ugly Christmas Sweaters” wouldn’t it be FUN with all those Patterns and Colors! I will have to be sure and purchase your new book! And the old one of course! I really enjoy your painting style! Your Attention to Detail is Superb! Thank you so much for making these videos available to us on KZfaq! As I am just a beginner! Hugs!❤️ Dawn Oops I almost forgot to add yes I adore rescue animals! We have one now and he is the best dog ever to keep me company since our children have all grown and moved out! Before that we had a different dog for 12 years while my children were growing up and she was the best dog ever for them! It was absolutely amazing about two thanksgivings ago she seemed to have waited for all 3 of the children to get home for the holiday visit and when we were all around her one morning she laid down her head and passed away! Animals are such an Amazing part of our lives! And I am so Grateful for them!
