NICE HILUX OR AVOID THIS

Looks nice, but what’s there to see underneath. This is a Prado Hospital not. Hilux Hospital. Avoid an X mine vehicle or make sure you get it cheap. Watch it, they make it look nice with bullbar, winch, wheels & tyres. Lift kit & some light bar or spotties.

Wow I have a 2007 with 250 k klms no were near as untidy as this,but that's why you look after them,I do all the serviceing myself

yep. fella said he was heavy deasil mechanic all was fine nothing wrong. First car i bought looked sweet. Months later ended up putting a whole new engine in

On my hilux, everything stock, nothing modified. even it has a tow bar installed but no signs of indicator wiring harness or two bar wiring harness found which gives me a relaxation that its not involved in heavy towing. injectors are due cause 220k on odo meter. will do egr clean with the injector job.

Wow lots of paint missing underneath that one. WTH happened to the front of the fuel tank guard. Love your wording mate. "Little bit of a rework on that bracket there" LOL This is why i never buy second hand 4x4's. How did that even get into the Prado Hospital?...Too dirty!!

They use an acid wash to get the red dirt off.

I found out the hard way about these vehicles... ex Mainroads service vehicle from the Pilbara. Probably not as rough as some of them though which is lucky. I do have a question though. Is it enough to wire brush, rust proof and paint these parts? Or will it depend on what's going on on the other side of the covers/pans?

It's definitely worth rust proofing the underside of your vehicle, just don't get sucked into the electronic rust protection snake oil or the expensive bitumen based sprays. Wire brush like you said then rust converter and some chassis black paint would do the trick. Apply lanotec twice a year to keep rust at bay and you're set.

We had plenty ex mining cars for cheap at work l was told stay away from them 2017 Toyota 8000 dollars when they go through mine salt eats them l sor them aution stay away
