So sad. I live a few miles from the bridge & remember the day it opened. It’s going to change so many lives of people who depend on the port to make a living. I wish those who perished peace.

It didn't collapse. It was destroyed. Doesn't this massive ship have insurance coverage? Like Lloyd's ?

It does but there's limits. Nobody insures for this much loss all the time - they (the Ship) just file bankruptcy and hide behind shell co's in Malaysia.

I still use vehicles with manual windows. The guy who survived was able to roll window down and swim out. U go into the water in a vehicle with power windows your trapped.

Why did they remove undamaged containers before the damaged ones? I thought the damaged ones were more likely to collapse when moving the ship. What was in the removed containers? Drugs? People? Weapons? Is it true that less than 2% of containers are checked?

they said the investigation results will be available in 12-24 months, so chop chop, dont have much time to pontificate and circle around the same sets of circumstances coming up with different theories or excuses.
