As someone who read Fourth Wing as an ease into the fantasy genre, thank you for these videos. I have ADHD and anxiety. And if general everyday life gets either of those riled up, worse if both are triggered, I have a VERY hard time retaining what I read. I read the same page seven times trying to retain that page. So having this to come back to after I finished the book to make sure I understood everything is beyond helpful. Fourth Wing was a very easy world to build in this distracted mind of mine, but some things I missed or perceived a different way, or missed entirely because my brain didn't deem it necessary to process and hang onto. So ALL the thank you's to you for doing this recap. I am going to go through your other videos and read some of the others you have recapped and read those as well. Thank you for making reading more enjoyable!

I wish you'd do this for the first 3 TOG books. I heard they're not very good but I feel like I may need to read all of TOG to fully understand CC3

I really liked them but I think it depends on what you like. There really isn't any romance & it's alot of action & I think that is one big reason people don't like it cause they are expecting the romance level of her other books.

I’m just about to start kingdom of ash (the last TOG, and after iron flame of course) but I think all of the books in the TOG series are so good!! I had my doubts going into the series and I was 100% blown away with how good they are. I did read TOg, then crown of midnight then heir of fire and then Assasians blade and I’m really glad I read In that order. Not sure id care too much about AB If I read it first, but it was super impactful where I read it (imo). All of that to say - you should read them! I bet you won’t be disaapointed 🥰

@@kindlesandcandles I think I'm going to go the audio route. I really enjoyed Crescent City that way and it wasn't confusing or boring at all to me. Same for Iron Flame. Even though I listened to this spoiler, I will forget everything and be surprised 😂
