Just found this channel. Exactly type of thing I was looking for. Really want to get into knife collecting but after a recent stint with the law regarding a butterfly knife, I decided I needed someone to actually tell me whether certain knives are legal or not. I genuinely searched "UK legal carry knives" and I found this channel, gave me a bit of a giggle.

It suits my taste quite a bit! I think the Nauta is just a flat-out great looking knife, and it seems like it would be wonderful to carry for work. Have an awesome weekend, my friend!

As long as the 'cutting edge' is 3" or less so it's legal. 👍

Shame the steel is so poor. Especially, considering that Fox make the cheapest UK legal M390 knives (Libar and Livri). Even D2 would be better.

I have a few bigger knives that had blades over three inch total length, I have modified them to be just under three inches, not going to risk confiscation and up to £50:00 fine, the trouble with UK legal made knives is the handles are to short, so although bigger knives look a bit odd after modifying they are more comfortable to use.

As I look at the law it states that as long as the cutting edge is 3” or under then it will be legal to carry in the uk. I would certainly carry that knife with no fear of prosecution as it falls well within the legal limit.

You're right, that the law states that a 3 inch cutting edge is legal. But apparently a lot of police policy says 3 inch blade. So the cops can confiscate and even destroy a knife according to their policy, whilst you won't be prosecuted for carrying it. It'll be an uphill struggle to get any compensation for it.

Thanks for the review; good to see you are still putting out videos. Have you seen the new HH branded Barlows with three different blade shape options? I don't buy many UK legal knives anymore as I have plenty but had to pick up the sheep's foot versions. Highly recommended little knife. Also, will you being doing a review of your new CRK'S on your other channel🤞

I absolutely will be doing a proper look at the crks on the other channel, I'm really enjoying them! I have seen the HH barlows, I'll admit, the sheepsfoot grabbed me as well, I'll pick one up at some point soon.

Hi, I’m interested in picking up a knife as a present for my dad. But I’m switching between this one and the maserin d2 blue micarta. What do you think is the better knife? He’ll probably be using it in his shed and in some day to day minor tasks as it’s been ages since he’ carried a knife around. Kind regards
