The Foxwell 624 Elite is a decent scan tool with some really good coverage for newer cars. I was pleased with it's reset functions as well.

I am wondering how it would do with Toyota. Would it read real time transmission fluid temp? How about running EVAP test?

Yes, and I think so. It could run an EVAP test on my old 1998 Volvo so I think so.

You can't because those are mechanical and a scan tool is not for that. Sorry

DOES THIS DO A COMPRESSION TEST OF EACH CYLINDER WITHOUT REMOVING SPARK PLUGS? DOES IT TELL YOU IF THE ENGINE OR TRANNY IS DEFECTIVE?

No, no scan tool can do a compression test. You'll need a compression tester to do that.

@@daveshostack4950 There is NO tool other than a mechanical tester that can do a compression test. Maybe you are thinking of a power balance test?
