you need to take the original 8Gb card out and copy those files to a larger card via a computer as this scanner only has one card slot

I'd suggest trying to reformat the memory card. If all else falls, contact foxwell support, they do a good job

You may invest in an Autel to program, as far as reading data, this unit covers quite a few models. I'll have to see about putting together a list.

Can you turn off service lights and set the light to come on in another 8000miles etc?

No ABS brake bleed function, you'll need a 2 way scanner for that like an Autel

It will link up with some control modules, not sure about all. I have been able to check SRS, ABS, ect as covered in this video in basic review. The more advanced systems such as Autel will give you much more control and information, worth the extra price in my opinion.

James, did you have any problems getting the verification code? I just got the nt650 elite and have been unable to get the verification code. sent emails to foxwell but have heard nothing back from them.

My scanner has not come in yet. This could be a scam. I paid $269 but the tracking info said it has arrived at the house,but to no prevail. No scanner

@@babybullsmith001 check tracking with your provider and also contact Amazon on this. Often times things get stolen or delivered late around the holidays. Buddy of mine worked for UPS in the past, it's too common.

it's got abs bleeding functions, but not for my car, not sure if it will work on yours

Will only do dpf regeneration on certain cars and I believe the dpf light needs to be on to do it or car has to be at certain temp

@@0Enterprise0 I find NT 650 very limited Auto Vin or enter Vin still ask's loads of questions about car Why ? wont do half the maintenance functions only modules its seems to read is ABS Airbag . My car is very common Insignia nothing out the ordinary done the updates still next to useless

I'm sure it's got a little battery for memory keeping, but power comes from the obd2 port in operation

Eddy I have a Opel Insignia 2009 4 seater Sedan with 2.0 CDTi diesel engine (160HP). I‘ve seen a lot of good reviews about Foxwell, even Scotty Kilmer recommended the NT650 but I’m not sure if I should buy one of these Foxwell devices. Is Opel is really not supported?

@@Forsaken1990 hi thomas, i sent mine back and got a refund no problem , it said it did opel /vauxhual but it wouldnt comunicate to all parts of my car ,it didnt pick up my coil light fault which i got after changing the injector but after a week the fault went by itself, (i didnt bleed the fuel system so that may have triggered the light) it did allow me to operate parts of the car, i just tried the fuel pump and it turned it on and off which is useful for mechanics but i really wanted it to comunicate with emissions because at the time i wanted to make sure i hadnt damaged the injector but it says it passed all the tests ,so because my coil light went off by itself i did wonder if maybe the foxwell was ok, my first time using any of these readers and im not a mechanic so i dont want to give you anything misleading,but to me it seemed like there should of been more screens to check through like it need some updates but updated and nothing changed,i would be careful, i read good reviews about it too, i guess you could try and send back if it dont do what you need ,had it communicated i think it would of been good for the price, but alot of these machines say they do all these functions but its only true for certain cars and the are misleading unless you got a big budget,i will have to look for another one next time i get fault, if you do try it make sure to put the micro sd card in laptop via sd adapter, not included instead of usb cable because it wouldnt update that way, i wish you look and if you find a decent one ,let me know bud :)

Another Foxwell - Vauxhall / Opel Fail, I have the NT680 and am having similar issues with my 2009 Insignia SRI 2.0T Turbo (Petrol) It will constantly loose communication, or Freeze at a "Please Wait" Screen. It won't read the Oil Pressure, or Turbo Boost Pressure, and Freezes when "Read Code's" is selected, I've tried waiting 15 - 20 minutes for it to come back with something, but after that amount of time just lose patience.

Most of the functions you see here either not working or not supported .. I have bought this but it has not satisfied me more than. a standard obd scanner ! Disappointed !!

@@kokojum60 Have used it on BMW X3 with abs + 4x4 problem .standard obd only told me there was problem and nothing more . With NT 650 I could read individual speeds from ABS sensors (they had all been renewed ) found erratic output from OS rear ABS ended up being corroded reluctor ring . With basic OBD2 was getting nowhere have also done forced regen on a DPF . Yes agree its bit limited and it doesn't do special functions on all cars if you want more functions you need dedicated scanner like nt530 + purchase module's . Other option is software for PC I have used fiatscan its excellent , Renault CAN bus , OP COM Vauxhall
