Brilliant, great lyrics, and guitar work. One guy and 1 guitar, beautiful,and humble. Like the reference to Holy wine and new wine. My adult kids introduced me to his music several years ago, with " indiscriminate act of kindness" and "Gabriel". A gifted artist with I sense a deep spirituality. Thanks Foy

Heard this song tonight for the first time......fell in love with it. Had never heard of Foy Vance before but after hearing this song I looked him up and have been listening to his music for hours now and have added them all to my play list. I love his voice and the way he sings.

count 3 movements for each chord. tune the guitar 1 whole step down. I'm writing the chords in the simplest form I can, the precise voicing/fingering is your job ;) Intro: Am7 G/B C C Am7 G G Verse: C C G G C C7/E F F C C G G Am7 G F F Dm7 Dm7 C/E C/E Bbsus2 Bbsus2 Fsus2/G Fsus2/G Chorus: F C G G c/eF Am G G c/eF C G G c/eF Am G G (the small chords are on the 3rd movement) Am G Verse... etc... Have in mind that during much time of this song, he's holding the same position on the 2 high strings -3- (high E string) -1- (B string) so G for example sounds a bit different because it's like: -3- -3- -1- -1- -0- or -0- -0- -0- -2- --- --- -3- I know I'm a little late, but I just saw your comment!
