Great build! by the way, what made you decide to pick 2 x NF-A14 as front intake instead of 3 xNF-A12x25? I can't decide which choice would be better for noise and performance.

Hi! Thank you so much! 140mm x2 cooling fans are always good in a small mid-tower case such as the H5 Flow and North. Therefore, I used NF-A14 x2 in this video and it's quite alright with enough airflow even at low RPM. However, the NF-A14 is old and a new edition coming out someday in the future. If you use cooling fans for many purposes like... radiator fans, chassis fans... The NF-A12x25 is the best ever, actually... it's immortal!! I hope this helps 👍

@@SNAPSHOTREVIEW Thanks for the info! What a coincidence... Looking forward to that build with the Arctic freezer III build. I was doubting between that Arctic AIO and the Noctua air cooler. Price/quality that Arctic AIO cooler is the best. Wonder if changing the Arctic fans to Noctua fans would make any difference. Subbed to your great channel 😉

Oh, thank you so much! When using a case with good cooling, typically one top exhaust fan is sufficient, and there is not much difference between using one or two fans with an air cooler. Moreover, this PC case can accommodate two 140mm fans on the top. 👍👍

Did the cooler hit the glass? I keep seeing these NH-D15 builds in the North that then do most of the actual shots of the PC running with the glass off.

06:09 Please check this timeline! Based on the ambient noise level of about 30dBA, - 30~31 dBA at idle - 40 dBA at the bench tests I use this PC setup now and I really dunno if this pc is on or off :) Anyway, all Noctua fans so I'd say it's very silent. Thank you so much💜🖤

Looks amazing. I’m going to copy most of it but with amd 7800x3d. This is my first build and I don’t know what I’m doing yet. Did you do anything extra to get such good temps?

Thank you so much👍👍 The combination shown in the video seems to handle your CPU quite well. If you search on Google with the keyword 'amd curve optimizer,' you'll find some optimization methods that, when followed, can enhance its performance even more. Other than that, as long as you carefully consider the size of the graphics card, there shouldn't be any issues. Best of luck💜🖤

Awesome! I used the MSI CPU LITE LOAD, and the temperature was amazingly low. Honestly, it's quite sufficient to just use the default settings. :)

Wondering if the d15 will fit if using an amd5 and the offset mounting brackets. That looks pretty tight.

If it's slightly higher compared to the Intel LGA1700 socket, it might get tighter a bit. As you can see, even with Intel, it's tight.

Hi! Thanks a lot👍👍 The maximum of CPU cooler height is 170mm, and the NH-D15 is 165mm tall with fans at stock height as you see in this video. Therefore, it's quite enough for most big air coolers. Cheers💜🖤

It seems quite alright with a 120mm air cooler like the U12A or PA120 which has similar cooling performance to the D15.

Does the side fan mount fit in combination with the D15? I'm looking for a new case and was thinking about the North + vertical GPU bracket + side fan intake, but I am using an NHD15 CPU cooler and not sure if it fits.

To vertically mount the GPU, it's not possible to use an air cooler. Therefore, the D15 is definitely not an option as well. For your setup, using the side fan panel with vertical GPU mounting, AIO is the only way. I hope this helps💜🖤

I'm not a fan of AIOs in general so if I get this case I'll probably design and 3d print a gpu fan shroud so the GPU only draws fresh air through the side mesh for the best cooling while still being able to use my D15 on the CPU. From the reviews of this case it seemed like the GPU airflow was lacking.

02:37 please check the timeline! It's Noctua NF-A14, there will be no problem if you use the cable management holes. Of course, it should be installed on the outside of the frame bar. Hope this helps👍👍

Personally, the NH-D15 is my favorite air cooler! It covers the RAM but has better overall performance compared to the NH-U12A. I actually like both of them. It's a tough decision 😀 If you have a larger case, I would go for the NH-D15, and if you have a smaller case, the NH-U12A should be a suitable choice. 💜🖤

@@SNAPSHOTREVIEW I love this build!! Sorry for the extremely late comment, I have a similar construction planned, but I'm also worried about the spec sheets: Your RAM looks lower then 35mm? The Fractal North spec sheet says: CPU Cooler limitations: 170mm. The NHG-D15 spec sheet says 32mm ram clearance, and height 168mm without moving the fan up. The low profile RAM I need is 34.8 mm So all in all, its probably just 1 mm too high if i press it on the RAM I hope ...
