Many different designs for each type of project are also included. For example, there are hundreds of designs kzfaq.infoUgkxb2mhCug-GkCWrq69Ce2I0nM0D4QpxAqu for outdoor buildings, from small sheds all the way up to a complete stable. Choose whatever type of shed or storage house is right for you. Pick from fancy ones or more utilitarian designs.

Great role models, quality work, I’m sure there are quarrels on the site and tempers flare but y’all are a great crew and highlight the point of having fun while still being productive. My son found you guys because he wanted to know what I did at my job which we own Aspen Construction and Remodeling in Stillwater, Oklahoma and he is the one that got me hooked on you guys. Watching these videos have gotten me to think of a lot of different building projects. I can do none of them at present (and probably not future) but that has never stopped me from thinking before. For instance, many ecology enthusiasts advance the idea of using old tires and old bottles to build a house, citing that it requires up to 30% less new materials. Would you ever consider building a house out of old tires and glass or plastic bottles? If someone asked you to do it, I mean? Alternately, would you ever consider attempting to build a house exactly the way houses were built 150 years ago? That is, using raw tongue-in-groove timbers, plaster over horse-hair walls, etc. Of course, electricity and plumbing would still have to be included, but only the very first functional ones, from, say, the late 19th century. Would you be willing to do that? Just to see what it was like? The historian in me would love it. BTW, speaking of historical builds, did you know there is a project that has been going on in France in which a team of historians are building a castle exactly the way it would have been built in the 12th or 13th century? They are in the 21st or 22nd year of what is expected to be a 25 year project. It's called Guedelon Castle (BTW, Guedelon is pronounced, funnily enough, "git-along"). If you look it up on KZfaq, there's even a series that follows it for one year. I think that was filmed during the 15th or 16th year of the project. It's really fascinating. I also follow them on Facebook, facebook.com/Guedelon Anyway, it's great to see Jaime back and to see the initial unveiling of his hand (I'm also following the current build; I watch these because I think they all have original points of interest), as well as just watching as you tackle another home.

@@PerkinsBuilderBrothers I'd never done one and it really wasn't that tricky. they give you an assembly manual. If you follow it, things come together. the sub floor is precut. Once you have your floor joists sitting loosely on the mud sills, you put the first course of sheathing on loosely with a screw in the outer corners. It will line everything up.
