No Brasil was way better in 94 in final and missed much opportunités. For 98 france had better chances and there is 2 matches after quarter final to win.

@@shansenani Italy was extremely lucky to get out of the group and also beat Nigeria. We were very poor, Baggio saved Sacchi and he didn't pick him for Euro 96, which idiot doesn't pick Baggio?

@@clementlecerf4894 Brazil was better because Italy played defensive, if Italy came out and had the same mentality they had in the first half against Bulgaria it could have been different. If you watch the final you see Italy tried to play for penalties, tactically they wanted to defend and it came from Sacchi.

I vividly remember this game. I watched it with my dad and my cousin. I was 11 years old. It was such a long game that i fell to sleep in the second half and woke up in the extra time. I wish Italy had won.

This match was classic 👌. Super Stars on both sides - top top players. It was exhilarating it could have ended on any side both sides deserved to go through, but Les Bleues 🇨🇵 snatched it kudos to the Azzurri 🇮🇹 as well for giving a top performance 👏.

Yes, France played much better and deserved to be qualified for semifinals, but when Baggio came in Italy game stile was completely different... Many chance for France but the closest was the one by Baggio in extra time 😢

Del Piero was not OK in this world cup. Baggio had to play in beginning of the game. When R. Baggio was in the field, the game was different. Why Roberto did you missed THE GOLDEN GOAL!
