If you happened to be caught by the rise of reality TV shows which premiered in the past decade, you surely know the name Frank Fritz quite well. Along with co-star Mike Wolfe, Frank traveled the US looking for rare and potentially valuable vintage items in to present in the series “American Pickers”.

Mike & Frank WERE the original American Pickers. If you remove one, it's not the original show. Substituting Robbie for Frank doesn't fill the void. The show should now be called Wolf Pickers. I no longer watch!

See I look at the show differently than you do. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Some people watch the show for all the drama. Some of us watch the show because we're into the Antiquities and we're trying to learn more about them. But I understand what you're saying it most definitely does remove that Personal Touch that tends to come with finding Antiquities

I've met Mike's nephew. Knew him for some time. IF Mike is anything like his Nephew this makes 100% sense. I've rarely met someone so self absorbed.

Even the closest friendships/partnerships fall apart eventually. Frank might have problems but I'm fairly sure whatever went wrong wasn't all his fault....

Wasn't all his fault?? Usually is w/an alcoholic. Lay partial blame on others, that's what alcoholic & addictions do. Mike & Frank didn't have a partnership. Mike Wolfe owns the show as it's Executive Producer. Time to move on from Frank.

Alcohol, substance abuse changes people. It changed me. Psychotic behavior, uncertainty, doubt, trust. One day at a time Frank. Trust in yourself, love yourself.

Same . His brother Tobbie doesn't really have a good personality for that show. The other guy with the white hair would be a much better fit cos he's HOT 🔥 and great to watch. Got to have some eye candy on that show cos there was none. Lol

While living in New England, I got married in the 70's. My father in law was into antiques and taught me about finishing and repairing furniture. We when out almost every weekend looking for garage sells.. I learned so much, like we bought a axe we found for $1.50. Cleanup it up and sold the it because was a 1945 version of a Boy Scout axe value was 75 $. He knowledge was amazing. I have happy to tag along and learn. I still have several nice pieces in my house.

I don't necessarily like one Guy more than the other, but I think Frank helped build the show just as much as Mike. You could tell that the two of them were starting to clash heads with one another, and it was obvious that Mike had more money to invest. Money can break up a friendship faster than anything, I've seen it happen to people who were closer than Mike and Frankie.

To be honest i didn't care much for frank when he would offer an old lady $5 bucks for something that is worth $80.00 or so & Frank would rarely give anything more, Mike would tell a person that was ready to take a few bucks for an item & mike would always say it's worth much more than that and give them $100.00 more, i never see frank do that much he would seem to take advantage of an Older person, Now that i hear mike back doored him i think it's wrong because they both made the show what it is,

I agree... I don't really know the whole situation behind the scene, with what the Viewers do know i would think the right thing to do would be for Mike to buy Frank out, i would bet that Mike's brother Robbie is the main reason Frank was thrown under the Bus... Mike should give Frank a towel or a rag so Frank can whip himself after mike gets done screwing him ...

I wouldn't walk across the street to see Mike Wolf...Allot has to be said when you step on peoples things and throw them around then offer them 5 dollars for an item after you tell them its not worth much then resell it for 200% profit. I never liked him or anyone on that show...even the girl Danny that runs the store or his brother either...Can't stand these people..

To be honest i knew Frank was going to be Cut from the show, the more we seen Robbie i told a lot of people that Mike is going to back door Frank & bring his brother in and i was right.. it looks like Mike was Never a real friend, Mike should have had to Buy Frank out, this would be the right thing to do, What goes around comes around, With all the new faces i have been losing interest in the show.

With all the negativity with him and Mike why would he want to come back, it won't ever be the same anymore. The trust is totally lost now .. Frank can start his own show on a different network and probably do great ..

Scraping the bottom of the barrel to throw a negative light on Frank, I always watched American Pickers because of Frank, Mike no, so therefore, I haven't watched American Pickers since Frank left....too bad, it was a great show....🇺🇸 .

I will not watch this show unless or until frank returns to the show. Mike is nothing without Frank. Hopefully some smart producers will see the potential in Frank and back him in his own show. Talk about high ratings. BAMM !!!!!!!!!!!!!! There it is folks !!

When you're an active drinker everybody's okay with that but once you seek help then you become an alcoholic and nobody wants anything to do with you. I got sober in 2003 and lost all of my friends and family and I see similar things happening there between Frank and Mike. I think Mike let his fame go to his head as well. I have a half-brother that has the same problem.

To sum it up as a huge fan myself I think we all really never knew the real Frank from the sound of this video.There was a second side to him we never saw on t.v. This whole time I thought Mike was the cold hearted one but it really sounds like their feuds behind closed doors were very bad.I truly hope they can forgive each other and revamped the show all over again with Frank as the cohost.

Wishing the best of luck to Frank Fritz . I hope he gets his own show. NOT through the History Channel though, they screwed him as did Phoney Wolfe. Frank was and is a Genuine guy, a man's man. I think Danielle has bigger balls than Wolfe.

You're taking away value of life. While you'd think you can trust your friends in business. The question is, are you willing to loose your friend(s) over business. If that business feeds your wife and children. What would you do? Tell your family fy because my friend/collegue has a problem? If so, you should not own a company, you should be an employee. Frank was just a tool for Mike to get the show off and running, the chemistry, Frank was no longer necessary as the brother, then Medford, then Jersey could fill in. Where is Medford btw ?

I was a fan and would watch the episodes when Frank was on the show but once he was of American Pickers I stopped watching because the chemistry was better with Mike and Frank together!

I'm a collector and I started out loving the show, but I knew, as it happens in real life, the "who?, what?, when?, where?..." of the both of them would come into play, and like in real life, would ruin everything. All I wanted is Frank and Mike going around looking at antiques, not getting the question of "are they a gay couple?" "what's the deal?" answered. I stopped watching it a long time ago when I sensed that was starting to happen.

Frank got thrown under the bus by his good mate & bloke he went to school with , Frank may have stuffed up like we’ve all done in life but our real friends have stood by us & always given us second & 3Rd chances .. no such thing with Mike’s ambitious plan , got rid of Frank the moment a opportunity came up & looks like he left his wife behind as well & has now his blonde glamour in place.

I don't watch the show any more since they screwed over Frank. I suspected something screwy a few years back when Mike alone was a guest star on Hawaii 5 0. I felt Mike screwed over Frank back then for his own fame. Too bad. Used to love the show but I won't watch a backstabber!

Depuis que FRANK est plus là, je n'écoute pas l'émission!!!! C'était amusant ,quand FRANK , était là !!!! Les émissions plus récentes , FRANK n'y est plus, je trouve ça plate à mourir !!!! FRANK il avait les pieds sur Terre!!!! MIKE achète des choses à 1000$, quand il en valent 100$$$ Je n'aime plus cette émission depuis le départ de FRANK !!!

American Pickers was created by Mike Wolfe who spent years trying to sell his idea to various networks. Mike Wolfe is the Executive Producer who owns the show and the business. He has the right to hire and fire anyone he pleases. Especially if its a disgruntled alcoholic employee.

I didn't mind Frank. He is a genuine guy. Not like Fruity with his fake girlish laugh..and how he's really being manly climbing on junk. When I heard Frank talk about Mr. Peanut and more about peanuts,, but continually pronouncing it PEANIT and peaNITS.. ..MR. PEANIT ??? see ya Frank.

When the show first started their personalities were pretty nice. He kept the show clean very polite to everyone. And now , slipping up. Never cared for Frank too much anyway , he always had an attitude. As for Mike got a nasty mouth later on words getting beeped out. As long as Frank's trying to get help and reach out and drinking shouldn't be an issue. It can happen to anyone. Nevertheless it causes problems. Sometimes it's better to split up to keep the peace. No matter how good a friend they are, they're going to hurt you. The rest is up to you.

My uncle had FARM IN UPSTATE New York he had 4 barns with 60 years of collecting and hoarding the production co. contacted him back in 1998 6 Mos. later a production team came to his farm and spent the day picking out items they wanted on the show and negotiated prices 4 Mos. later the film crew showed up a taped their segment of the show mike and frank showed up two hours later and stayed about 50 minutes taping Mike had little to say but was very bossy to my uncle but Frank was totally nice and friendly then they left My uncle was paid 500.00 dollars the segment aired about 9 Mos. later was totally pre staged asked my uncle how did it go his reply was MEH
