I think it’s also important for people to know that there isn’t an answer for everything when it comes to God. Some things we just aren’t supposed to know as humans. That’s why the word faith is so important.

Since there isn’t an answer for everything when it comes to God, we should just believe whatever on blind faith? Is that your position? What if some of us aren’t buying into the blind faith argument. What then?

There isn't an answer for everything but there are plenty of answers if you look for them honestly. If that isn't enough for you, that's a shame, but no one is forcing you to believe. "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."

@@TenMinuteTrips Well, there a _few_ things when it comes to God that we must have faith in, but as for things like, does god exist? Is God loving? Is God all powerful and intelligent etc? These are things we argue from what we _do_ know, not from what we don't know. We're not just simply having "faith" that God exists, that would be really dumb.

@@crazyprayingmantis5596 Honestly it’s difficult to argue with most atheists in good faith, no pun intended. God isn’t going overthrow your free will to force you to acknowledge him. If he was a voice in your head I’m sure you would complain. You hear you do not listen. Most atheists insist that they need proof. But any proof offered is outright denied. The fact of the matter is, it takes Faith to pick up your prescription from the pharmacy. You have faith that the pharmacist didn’t try to poison you, based on evidence that they haven’t been poisoning others, that they would risk getting in trouble etc etc. But it isn’t proof. It’s faith. Regardless the atheist position is entirely irrational and you can reason someone out of a position they didn’t reason themselves into.

I agree that God's primary purpose isn't just for us to believe he exists, but for us to be in relationship with him. We can build a deeper and more meaningful relationship with God by reading Scripture, praying, and being part of the Church. Many people I know say they believe Jesus exists, but they haven't taken any steps to have a relationship with him.

One of the things this channel has added to the conversation at large, I think, is recognizing the "prince problem," where the prince in Frank's analogy can represent God's pursuit of us, but when we fail to see the prince's nobility and instead think he's an entitled chauvinistic creep, we reject him based on that premise - based on our perception of whether God is moral or not. I really liked how Frank used that story, and I also really appreciated how DailyDose dug into it to illustrate his point. This channel has really made me start thinking about the prince problem for a while now. I'm grateful for that. 🔥

I loved that bit towards the end about the unreached (or least reached) people groups of the world. As someone working in that context, and also as someone who just finished Nabeel Qureshi's book "Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus," It is comforting to me to see that God seemingly does work in the hearts and minds of people despite his church's own limitations and weaknesses. There Are those being reached through supernatural means. That is so comforting to me. Great video. I'm curious about what a comprehensive discussion of non Jewish-related people groups around the world before/during Christ's life, might look like, in relation to being saved.

Facts, nothing of the supposed supernatural is supported by any evidence of existing, that includes all god's. No one ever has or ever will be able To prove or disprove gods exist. Fact there is not one account record that is sourced, verified and corroborated by any known to have existed persons by that same criteria that the jesus of the Bible stories ever existed. Gods area belief , belief are taught, no one was ever born with any knowledge, only the instincts to suck a tit, piss and shit themselves and to yell out for attention, religions and gods are instilled in unformed minds just as things like racism are. All who believe, and to believe means to accept as true that which is without evidence, are for one of 3 reasons, they are indoctrinated to do so while their minds are unformed and groomed in them throughout their formative years, they are ultra naively gullible willing to swallow any BS ded them or they are so desperate for a crutch like a drowning man they reach out to clutch a straw floating past, because they cannot cope with the realities of life, which one are you, final fact, you do not believe because of any irrefutable, undeniable, indisputable, empirical, demonstrative evidence of your god actually existing because the fact is there is non and no one has ever been able to offer evidence as such

Frank tackled the problem of many religions from a 'hiddenness of God" and "free choice" standpoint. That was okay, but I really would have liked to hear what historical factors and maybe spiritual ones influenced people to develop the worldviews about "how things began, and why," etc. That, or just a different take that I havent heard from him many other times. The problem of many religions was kind of answered, kind of not in my opinion..."there are many religions because God wants you to choose and because God hides Himself." Eh...there's other angles that skeptics would take more seriously, I think. Nevertheless, I enjoyed.

Frank has never been the sharpest knife in the drawer and demonstrates it here. If God is our heavenly father his love Trumps our given right to choose. If you are sitting in your front yard and watching your children play. You've sternly but lovingly instructed your children to stay out of the street because of heavy traffic. Suddenly you notice one of your kids,(the one that never listens) run out into the street to pet the pretty dog on the other side. You jump out and grab your little rebel and proceed to spank him and send him the inside to spend some alone time in his room. He'll be especially sad when he hears the ice cream truck come into the neighborhood. The other siblings will enjoy their treats while the little rebel will go without for the rest of the day and will get a final stern talking to from you (Dad) because as his father you will never allow anything awful to happen to you. Will he get punishment from time to time? Yes, and the older he gets, the worse the penalties will be. But eventually he will learn that you love him. Have you stripped him of his free will? No. Except when his life is in danger..then you will intervene forcefully. Will you let him just run out into the street, having told him the consequences of his actions and letting him decide? Of course not. Read your Bibles. I Timothy 4:10 All means ALL Apokatastasis

If Atheism were true, then you worshiping God has no affect on your outcome. So what's the issue? Atheism doesn't state that you will suffer some bad fate if you believe and worship God. - The opposite is not true.

Not really. At the end of the day, both apologetics and atheism intersect at the same end. Faith. Either you put your faith into the possibility that god doesn't exist, with no one hundreder certainty to disprove of him or you put your faith in the gospel Isaiah 6:9-10 Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.' Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise, they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed. It really is about faith. Not certainty. After all, god designed belief through faith for a purpose, pure reason cannot lead you to believe god or disprove his. existence. Why did the pharisees not believe, because the words they were reading in Isaiah 53 describing the mesiah for a christian were not interpreted in this way. Why? Because as stated above, it is their hearts that is the problem, not their actual knowledge of the written word. Their pride could not allow them to believe that god would encarnate ans suffer for our sins.

I don't see how atheism could be true. But how do you unsee or go back to pretending you don't know once you've come to the conclusion that Jesus exists and there's proof to give good reason to believe. The thing is the evidence I've seen was sufficient for me to believe and my experience and relationship with God make it impossible for me to deny his existence. It just wouldn't make sense. I'm not trying to bag on Atheists. I'm just saying we all have the same evidence but when I look at the evidence it's very plainly visible that God exists! It's a matter of perspective I guess. What I always want to know is "WHY" Do atheists work so hard to try to change our minds? Why can't they just respect our choice like God does?🤷🏽‍♀️ It puzzles me because it makes sense for a Muslim or person who practices Judaism to have a passion to want us to accept who they believe to be God. But what motivates the atheist? And how is it that these days they're more pushy than the local JW or Mormons in my local area?😩 Not all of them but it's kinda ironic... 😂 I enjoy hearing others beliefs and don't mind discourse. But when I was an unbeliever pushy Christians didn't sway my decision and now that I'm a Christian, pushy atheists won't have a positive affect on me either.

Thanks for this dialogue. Frank is "Frank" in his responses and I love that! In addition to what Frank had to say concerning the question about God not making us worship/serve Him... My take is the fact that God has a divine order (as a law or promise to His own creations) that He can't go against (unless it leads to the ultimate plan). God made us in His likeness and image also giving us "free will"/emotions. Love will not force itself on others. 1. Corinthians 13, Paul gives the best definition and explanation of what love is, and what love is not. Too often, people focus on what love is, and neglect what love is not, and this is why so many are confused about Love. God's characteristics, and actions have never displayed "what love is not." Therefore, this is just one or another one of the reasons why God will not force His authority. Thanks again, and CONTINUE .

Genesis and Deuteronomy explain the multiple Gods / Religions. At the Tower of Babel when God confuses and disperses the people throughout the earth/nations. He assigned Lordship over them to members of his Divine counsel, lesser supernatural beings perhaps angels (sons of God). They to go the way of Satan and rebel which leads to them being worshipped as Gods. Hence other Gods. ”When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he divided mankind, he fixed the borders of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God. But the Lord’s portion is his people, Jacob his allotted heritage.“ ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭32‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭ESV‬‬ This theory is summed up in depths by Michael Heiser in his book Supernatural. Fascinating book absolutely changed for the better how I read and interpret the Bible especially the OT.

As an apologist (ἀπολογία --legal defense in an ancient court), most questions we hear are masked or repackaged from previously existing old and tiresome false claims. Frank has a valid point. As it relates to "hiddenness of God" issues, the person using this approach isn't really seeking God, but accusing God for justifying their unbelief despite God having made it evident within them. It's less important how much exposure you get than it is the type of personality you develop and the seed you plant for the time when everyone is given the truth. Many will still reject because they value their own desires, but some will accept truth with all their being.

Father God always does the unexpected, (although much of it is foreshadowed within Scripture Proverbs 25:2.) Anyway, I agree with Frank on what God thinks about the firstborn of flesh mankind. Paul broaches this within Romans 9:14-25.. Regarding what happened to all of the people before Jesus is also answered by Paul in Romans 5:14. However, there are some like Moses (Jude 1:9.) and King David (Acts 2:34,35.) that have been or will be *exceptions* to this "death/separation" and we'll just have to see how God does all of this in the future.

Getting to know God is an adventure. Trying to find out if He's real is an adventure, hence leaving some ambiguity. HE gives us the option to pursue the curiosity. The adventure that comes from that freedom is worth having. Suppose we were to treat that question seriously. About why God doesn't make Himself more clear. To the person, I'd ask if they love adventures? Would they prefer to find some things out themselves? Would they rather a friend just tell them a lot about a person they're about to meet, or would they rather meet the person and get to know them themself? The adventure is there. Whether we partake in it is the choice.

Maybe the best reference in the Bible that refutes the idea that the gospel can save someone for eternal life is Romans 11:26-28, “And so all Israel shall be saved (spiritual Israel): as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.” Some reject the gospel because of being convinced of false doctrines, but yet were saved by Christ on the cross of Calvary and will be in the eternal heaven. A supporting verse is 2nd Timothy 2:13-“If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.”

Curious the strange adversity people have to Christianity. Tho' I am of that Nature, that as long as I clearly and distinctly perceive any thing, I cannot but believe it true; yet because I am also of that Nature, as not to be able always to fix the intention of my Mind, upon one and the same thing, in order to my clear perceiving of the same; and that I oft call to Mind a Judgment I have made before, when I no longer attend to the Reasons, upon which I judged it to be such, other Reasons may be alleged, which might remove me from my Opinion, if I were Ignorant of the Existence of God; and consequently should never have any true or certain Science concerning things, but only Fleeting and Mutable Opinions. I love when the question is asked, "What about the people before Jesus???" I love this question, because we have an answer from scripture. We don't have to guess: Acts 17:30 "The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent," God overlooked the fact that his Specific Revelation ( I.e. the scriptures given to Israel which spell out in great detail exactly who God is and His nature and what He expects,... etc etc) not given to all nations and therefore all the people that came before Jesus (and presumably all those without exposure to the specific revelation of the scriptures and Jesus himself) that did not have that specific revelation WILL NOT be held accountable in the same way that those who possess such revelation will be held accountable. I don't know what that ultimately looks like, but I know that God is good, just, loving and merciful. Just read Acts 17. The Apostle Paul answers so many tough questions when he's dealing with the Greeks in Athens.

The loving, kind, and merciful Creator's favor and reward of ETERNAL LIFE and existence on earth without sufferings, pains, griefs, sickness, and death is NOT for liars and spreaders of lies but ONLY for lowly, ordinary, kind, and respectful persons on earth who willingly submit to the authority of Jesus Christ and believe his teachings about the "Kingdom of God" and "Resurrection of the Dead" Atheists, Evolutionists, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, and all liars and spreaders of lies will just become worthless and useless dusts on earth forever after their deaths while loving, kind, and respectful worshippers of the Creator who died recently and thousands of years ago will not remain as worthless and useless dusts on earth forever, instead, in the Creator's right and proper time, Abel, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Job, Naomi, Ruth, King David, Daniel, Jesus Christ's followers, and many others will be RESURRECTED back to life by Jesus Christ so they can all happily and abundantly live and exist on earth forever and fully enjoy the eternal love, kindness, goodness, generosities, compassions, favors, and blessings of the Creator and his Christ for eternity as submissive and obedient subjects of the "KINGDOM of GOD" under the loving and kind rulership, guidance, and protection of Jesus Christ as the Creator's Chosen King and Ruler of the heavens and the earth.

Frank is amazing and I have mad respect for him. However, his answer on the unreached dilemma seemed to dance around the question. Sometimes an "I don't know" in apologetics is more satisfactory.

14:02 Frank is correct, given a worldview that there is no God there is no inherent moral standard.

Yes, that is true, we have no god so WE create the moral standard hence the standard differs between individuals and societies.

People may want to go their on way but if there is only two doors to go through, your way is one of those two doors, meaning if God wants to be a third door, people need to know it is there in order to know they have a third option. What we have are people claiming there is a third door with various tales of what this door looks like and how to find it and an appearance that nobody has really found it but it's there somewhere.

The problem is that he gave us free will so he can't interfere with that so other religions are gonna be created just out of free thought and action and will that he gave us but we will also have free will and thought to believe in him and he is the only true God.

He had absolutely no problem interfering with it in the old testament. And how is not interfering with free will going to work out on judgement day?
