This is a great explanation. I’m stuck at home during quarantine and can’t go see my chiropractor, after feeling my back for pain and reviewing a diagram of muscles I narrowed down and then found this video. It really helped release tension in my back!

I pulled something in my lower back region and had a huge bulge of the muscles next to my spine. The shocking pain when standing straight or bending down was almost unbearable. I would have to immediately stop moving and work my way up to a standing position or a sitting one. This went on for about a week. It was truly immobilizing me. I cannot afford to go to a chiropractor or doctor right now and your video really helped me. I will continue to do this and hopefully more relief will come over time. Bless you and thanks for sharing your expertise!!! It's greatly appreciated. 🙂🙂🙂🙏🙏👍👍

OMG, I've been trying so hard to figure out why my lower back hurt to bad. Thought I had sciatica or something, but it never quite added up. This is the problem. Totally felt it. Still feel it after sitting down. Started to release, in fact, felt it through my whole body. Slightly dizzy in fact it was so powerful. Will do this every day. Think I may have found a major reason for my headaches. Thank you thank you.

i actually cant believe this, i have had back pain from poor form at the gym for years. been in an out of hospital and physio, many MRIs. it gets better, and then it gets worse again. I have been using a massage ball just lying down - but this focus on contracting and releasing the muslces while massaging provides sooooo much release. Hopefully i will sleep well tonight

My back suffered a very bad trauma a year ago on December 4th. I tripped on a piece of uneven concrete and did a summersault. I haven't been able to stand up straight since. The muscle running from my lumbar region to the bottom of my ribcage on the left is bulging horribly. It's pushing my spine to the left all the time! I'm hunched over as well. I've gone through 17 weeks of physical therapy, my Chiropractor 3x per week and no results. Worse yet, my brain doesn't recognize that I'm not standing up straight and my hips hurt bilaterally. I've been to the pain clinic 5x, burnt the nerves at L4-L5 and L5-SI. I went back 2 weeks ago for tripper point injections. Nothing has helped! I watched your video & if my condition was that simple, but it looks like the right area, I would have been standing up some time ago. Please help!

That was good. Ivunderstood the excercise fine. Well described and easy to follow. When i am done, i now feel some tension even lower, in my back, all the way at the hip (the si) does this mean I should do the excercise again and try to bend further down or os there something more to it? I have to mention that i am infused in my l4l5, that might also play a role

Hey... I have been made aware that ultrasound scans can pick up the fascia and this may be why all these years of x rays and scans haven’t solved my head to toe problems with fibromyalgia.... I can feel it’s all my connective tissue causing my problems yet no scans have picked it up.... is there anywhere in the world that is using ultrasound to scan the fascia and connective tissue ? Any doctor ? Any chiropractor ? Anywhere ! I’m willing to travel the world for just one person who specializes in this.... thanks

Superb information, instructing SELF-APPLIED therapies, I like this Franklin Method. Fascia is a study worthy of several lifetimes, fascinating stuff. Could connective tissue be the primary information highway, a piezo electric interconnected time-less whole body synapse?? The nervous system is too slow when explaining fluid active movements, me think.

Thanks for this, i'm going to incorporate it into my stretching routine. I have a question though; I've had on and off back pain in my lower back for the last few years. About 6 months ago, after shoveling snow and then going for a run the next day (we had some strange weather, what can I say?!), my back seized up on me and has been in really rough shape ever since. I've seen my doctor and physiotherapist but I don't think either has specifically nailed the issue. Recently I've become convinced that it's scar tissue that has built up on my thoracolumbular fascia as I can feel grinding when I run my thumb or massage tool up and down my the vertebrae at the bottom of my spine. When I do the same on my wife's back, it feels normal (like you would expect muscle on bone would feel). Mine feels constantly inflamed and grisly and causes a great deal of pain. What would recommend to try to fix what I think is scar tissue? I've been doing daily stretching and self-massage with a tool that I bought. Seems to help in the moment but the relief seems short-term. Any advice or help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
@kvbstudios316
@kvbstudios316 Жыл бұрын
Sounds like the tool might be making you more inflamed. I am not a doctor, and this isn’t medical advice. Maybe give the tool a rest and take a day or two off the stretching. Anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen might help with inflammation. A TENS style stimulation machine (you can buy at walmart or order handheld ones) could help too. Try changing your shoes for a day. Check that you don’t need a new mattress. KT tape is surprisingly effective for me. Source: 20 years of chronic back problems/personal experience.
