I presume you already have a team of designers and someone manages this channel for you. You can delegate further and get your team to do the grunt work of modifying the designs while you focus on ideation/guidance/review of your team's work.

Frank, it feels like an absolute privilege to have this access to your thoughts and expertise. The high end videos you do are great fun, but it's your understanding of design and way of communicating it that I love about your channel. I also adore watching you sketch and design in real time, even just the first passes, I'd love to see more of that if thats something you can do in a more manageable timeframe. Frank, love the channel. I can understand how complex it can be to put a video like yours together. I think most people like myself would be completely ok with more basic videos where we hear your thoughts about certain cars or brands or a quick list of 5 cars that demonstrate a design concept. Nothing too crazy and no need to completely redesign or render things. Anyways that's my 2c, keep it up!!

Ingegnere Materazzi (who did the Ferrari F40 basically all by himself) recently said that today's cars at times lack of cohesion, as Frank said in this video, because too many heads work around the car. It's not one man's (team) vision anymore.

Took the words right out of my mouth, to me it could have been a 10 but somewhere near the end someone got carried away and overdesigned it. I would love to see how you would simplify it and bring back some of the elegance, i vote for twin rear tail lights!

This Ferrari is as near to perfect as any other before it. Ferrari design group did an excellent job! Bravo!!

3:30 as for me the rear nearly looks exactly like the Cyberpunk2077 Quadra Turbo R V Tech. It has two instead of four exhousts but it still brings a bright smile on my face.

That wraparound windscreen is special,it's very jet fighter-like.Very unique feature for sure.

The door line into the back fender is my main issue with it's looks

yes! please don't let this channel die... I think everyone watching appreciates the professionality and thought put into all of your videos; that being said, KZfaq's roots are with amateurs being able to share ideas with relatable content. there's no need to be formal or have a polished off production with an edited script etc. I think having a more informal approach would be just as insightful as the most professionally produced and edited videos. Initial, guttural, unfiltered reactions are arguably better and more relatable for your audience. Might even become much more popular as any professionally produced (made for TV) video. I mean KZfaq made an entire cottage industry of people opening boxes for the first time (unboxing videos).

The purity & simplicity of this Daytona has been sadly lost, some lovely details though, as a whole feel ferrari designers are trying to hard to make a statement! If we look at the Dino 246 GTS & E-type mk1 purity of lines is timeless beauty! Thank you Frank, for your frank critiques, always loved your videos! R❤️🙏

Agreed on the headlamp covers - they should go all the way or not be there at all. Instead of looking mean, it just looks... disinterested. For the front 'strakes', I'd reduce the number to 3, soften them and make them more upswept to merge with the lines of the front fender. Only thing I'd change in the middle is make it a pure hardtop and extend the shark gills further up the roof, or increase the glass viewing area. For the rear, I'd have everything below the tail lights be pure black and increase the number of exhaust pipes to 4.

As soon as I saw the back end - "Definitely Testarossa!"... little did I know. Overall the car is striking but I wouldn't call it beautiful (like a lot of Mclarens these days...). Great video and thank you Frank for the time and effort you put into this.

Frank, love your videos. If you need to dial it back, do fewer or shorten them, but keep it going! Thanks for all you efforts to date. This car is similar to a lot of Ferrari designs lately; voluptuous side sculpting that doesn't completely jive with the pointy front and rear.

Great analysis as always, Frank. I think the location of the door handle is dictated by the air channel void in the door. It's really the only practical location to put it. Aesthetically and aerodynamically though, Manzoni and his team probably didn't want a door handle to disrupt the flowing lines of the car's shoulders. Just my thoughts.

Love the content and okay if in future it does a little shooting from the hip.

Good observations - I would give it a 5 out of 10! Like a lot of modern car design short-term drama seems to take precedent over refinement and aesthetic purity . There is a feeling of immaturity about the design as if it was a Ferrari as imagined by an over-indulgent adolescent.

Am I the only one that thinks the rear of this car is the sexiest Ferrari-rear ever? I love it.

Hello Frank, that is a very good shout about the 250 concept car, that’s definitely the influence on the rear. Question, given the choice (and the chance) would you have redesigned the Testarossa (and 348) with round rear lights rather than the horizontal slats? Personally I think that they still look great (and getting better with age) and depict and incredible 80’s icon styling with Pininfarina at the top of their game…

Nice to see you back! Yes, I love so many elements of this car at first glance but then as a whole… there is something cartoonesque about it. I don’t know it feels so high in the front and really no planted at all.. then the driving position seems so high too… i don t know what to think about it. My first impression was very good which is never a good sign. You need to be able to process a new in your face design to apreciate it long term

Hey Frank… loved your comments and observations on the new Daytona SP3, thanks for sharing your thoughts and prospective about the design. I do agree that the headlight’s “eyelids” should have been full to cover the lights when not on, that was my thought exactly. As for the taillights I think it should have been singular, round protruding lights on top of right and left rear fender (since the side view mirrors are located on top of the right and left fender). Other that that, I think the design is spectacular IMHO.

The front looks amazing!!! 😍 Especially, when you add just a little side view coming into view, with them wheels chopping, but the back of the vehicle simply ruins it for me! Once i seen the rear of the vehicle it instantly reminded me of a futuristic hot wheels car, that I used to toss around when I was young.... P.s. Those headlights are heading in the right direction.

Saw this car and instantly loved it. I must agree that there are too many fins on the back and would have loved traditional lights but that flow for the air intakes etc is stunning. I think your rating is about right but like you, I would love to be in the position to park one of these in my garage.
