In school i prefered the geeks and freaks, they were my group. No teen drama, chill and fun with video games and anime, and some of them were pretty smart so they help me with the things i didn't understand in class.
@Pinkie00710 ай бұрын
I used to be a “freak/geek” and hung out with other freaks/geeks and I’d actually say the complete opposite. They are rarely ever loyal, and you can’t trust or rely on them. They’ll lie to appear cool. They’ll get jealous if you achieve anything. They’ll ditch you if they get accepted into another clique that they consider as more “cool”. They are creeps towards girls and will do anything to get laid. Watch the movie Superbad, their friendship dynamic is incredibly toxic and that’s how freaks/geeks really are. I’m not saying they’re all like this. But most absolutely are. And the reason why, is because they don’t hang around with each-other because they want to, they do it because they have to. Everyone else rejected them and you’re their last resort and they are yours. Most of them are weasels and I’m not friends with any of the ones I used to hang with in high-school anymore.
@CantabileLove10 ай бұрын
@@Pinkie007 Well at the end of the day there's highly insecure and immature people in all kinds of groups or any entire group can be like that, i cannot say my group was cool because they were geeks, they just were cool AND geeks. @@Pinkie007 Well I can't deny your experience but I'm pretty sure they weren't bad to hang around because of the fact that they were geeks. If they were rejected because of that then of course they're not gonna trust anyone. Someone is gotta prove them wrong but if the whole environment is gonna treat them like shit then they will most certainly not participate in society. In my school geeks weren't very popular but you would always find a non-geek who would hang around them. Through mutual friends the circle would get bigger and voila - we got a naturally formed, genuine group of friends. US wouldn't have school shootings without bullies too

Refuses to take a health concern seriously, decides to test it, fucks around and finds out, sends an innocent kid to the hospital, apologises while his victim is in a coma so he doesn't have to face real consequences, then gets off scot free with just a shitty apology. Also, i dont live in the US so my experience has been vastly different. My primary school regularly sent out advisories about peanut allergies and i know a lot of people with nut or egg allergies who are believed instantly. Why is it that when I read anything about food allergies in the States, it's always about some irrelevant person not believing and trying to disprove it and then realising that allergies aren't a joke? (The coconut story from reddit comes to mind, but that one will rightfully ruin your day. And the mother in the story wants people to stop sharing it because she might encounter it and it's triggering). Is it so hard to believe that some people just can't tolerate some foods? Would you fuck around and hide a hot pepper in food to test someone's spice tolerance?
@StephiieZee10 ай бұрын
I read the coconut story. Wtf. Yeah like even if someone was lying about an allergy (I had a girl in my class claim she was allergic to basically everything then you’d see her eating it at lunch) it’s not worth possibly killing them to find out.

I actually relate with both the victim and the bully. I have been both unfortunately. I was a victim of bullying every day in primary school. And then I am ashamed to admit it but I did become a bully to one kid in high school. I have since apologised and grown as a person but yeah don't bully people of any age. It's a vicious cycle, victims often become bullies. If I ever am lucky enough to have kids of my own I'll make sure they know not to do what I did and I'll support them if they do get bullied.

I had a school friend who once smashed another guy’s balls when he was punished at school for talking to someone and he justified his anger. These folks never change, trust me a bully stays a bully all his life.
