On this week's episode of the podcast, freeCodeCamp founder Quincy Larson interviews Ben Awad, a game developer who creates developer tutorials on KZfaq and TikTok.
I hope you enjoy our conversation.
Can you guess what bass line I'm playing on my bass during the intro? It's from a 1979 song.

My question to 10x programmers is how do you study/learn? As in what is the way you study/learn(reading, writing it down, doing, actively recalling, explaining in your own words, etc, etc)? For how long do you study/learn a day? And how often do you refresh/repeat topics you have already studied/learnt?

10x programmers is a myth. Just put as much time you want and can on learning things.

@@ivankovachev8835 i just started seriously as well. i'd say in the beginning go at your own pace and how you feel most comfortable learning. then after you're familiar with fundamentals, you can look into the pros' models. at least, that's how im doing it

This is the first freeCodeCamp podcast I listen to. I never followed a turotual by Ben, but I've watched and enjoyed his videos. I'm currently in the process of studying and learning while changing careers, and the advice near the end about how you can build yours in tech was spot on and really resonates with what I believe and approach life in general. Really enjoyed this, thanks everyone! ps. also found out that Quincy likes the office and bob ross, so thar was a plus haha

He strikes me as a mid-level developer that got famous from TikTok. I've seen some of his tutorials and unfortunately he didn't really seem to know what he was talking about or just brushed through a lot of details.
