#25 FLOYD, VA: Green Pastures and Great Shopping

I head to the ranch to continue the task mowing the future horse pasture and then head into the town of Floyd to do a little exploring. I am so excited to see how things are progressing with the Yurt platform and the log cabin. It won't be long until we can physically move onto our dream property!

We are dreaming of moving to Floyd and I cannot wait to wake up to those mountains every day!!!!!!

It is an amazing place! We are so happy we made the move! Where do you currently live? Do you get to visit Floyd often?

I love those Blue Ridge mountains. I hiked Buffalo mountain !

They are amazing, aren’t they?? I can’t wait to hike Buffalo mountain:..now that we aren’t spending all our time building on the weekends we will definitely fit it in!

You might wanna look at a generac for the house. I lose power frequently with AEP

That's exactly what we are going to do! The most challenging part of losing power here is not being able to pump water from the spring. One of the main reasons I want the generac (among others!)

@@freedomranchhomestead7961 our generac is 16 years old and still doing good. We bought a new one with Wifi so I could see that it tested and to make sure it’s on when I get that Aep text. Using the old on for the barn and storage. Good luck!
