As a student of economics, i can tell you some of canadas problems. Our left government, and this goes back 60 years,,wants to build products and sell them,,,one example is trudeau 1.0 that poured hundred of millions into furnature companies in the late 70s early 80s,,,they went belly up withing 10 years because canada has too high a standard of living,,,this furnaruew was not marketable on the global field, our wages were too high due to unions,they could not sell their furniture,,it was too expensive. Now we have trudeua 2.0 doing the same thing for electeic car batteries, which will also go bust, for different reasons,,, Canada should not focus so much on paying down our debt,,,we have to focus on speeding up our natural resourse development and sale,,,which will shrink our Debt to GDP, which by the way trudeau haß destroyed We cant compete in a secondary resourse we have to focus on our primary resources,,,which bring money and capital We can fix this
