Les mirage on une longue histoire beaucoup de victoires le f15 n'a pas autant de combat que le mirage qui est le chasseur qui a le plus a abattu d'avions russes rien que la guerre des six jours les mig tombaient comme des mouches le f15 et un gros chasseur bombardiers avant lui y a eu le mirage 4 plus gros que le f15 le mirage 4000 était pour concurrencer le f15 il a pas était retenu pourtant excellent il pouvait largement rivaliser le f15

Mark Mersel the record of mig 21 is also great . Once backbone of soviet then indian since 1960 . Now flying coffin but russian 1960 model fighter shot down F16 of pakistan inside pak territory by R73 missile. The excellent training given to indian pilots is the reason.

@@garvdutta5348 Russian Engines require heavy maintenance. In a life time of a twin engine aircrafts atleast 4 engines are required. Availability issue is also there because of Russian Engines, because they are meant to operate in a very rough Siberian terrain and climate. Whereas, European or American Engines are very reliable, low maintenance and modular design, fuel efficient. A Desi Design like Tejas with American Or European engine for now (later our own engines) is the way forward for an airforce like Indian Air Force. We should never criticise a creator's creation. Those creations are amazingly admirable.

Honestly just stick to the Rafales as a maritime fighter. F 15 is overkill since Indo already have the Sukhois having the same air superiority role.
