I make French people pronounce difficult English words! It's simple, the rule is they have to be 100% French to participate. Then, I show them a series of hard English words and they have to attempt to say them out-loud. Thats it!

As a native English speaker who has studied French, I think “choir” looks like a French word, and I can’t blame them for pronouncing it the way they did. I’m surprised they didn’t all comment on how the spellings of English words often seem to have no relation to their pronunciation. By the way, the last word is spelled wrong, at least on the screen. There is only one “h” in the word “psychotomimetic.”

I have so much respect for the French people. As an American visiting overseas, I did my very best to learn, speak, and respect their beautiful language, but they would go above and beyond if I struggled (and genuinely politely, with no snarky backhandedness) usually help out by speaking with me in English afterwards, while still encouraging me in a positive way to continue learning French. I have nothing but nice things to say about the people I met there.🙂

When someone was shy to try 'successful' it was a good strategy to have a few others to try to not put them on the spot. I think the facilitator can try and be more encouraging to those who have given it a try on camera, not only when they succeed. You can tell when certain ppl are discouraged, so I would love to see them more reassured :), esp since they are already being brave ❤ But yea I think he didn't want to give away the answer. Anyway all the ppl who tried kudos to them. This is such a cute video!
