Hey, not sure but the water looked a bit hot for medium roast coffee, i would recommend 85* C for medium roast french press

Where did you buy that french press, is it good?
@TheHappyHigh8 ай бұрын
We aren't French Press Experts but this one did the job well. Bought it a few years back at just under 1000 Rs at a retail store

Does it taste better than the regular black coffee made just by adding hot water

There is too much to learn in coffee for us too... the making method, the type of coffee bean, the grind levels of the coffee, the roasting levels etc have an impact on the taste.....

Yes, huge difference. It's like freshly squeezed oranges vs orange juice. One is fresh and natural, the other processed and simply crap. Instant coffee isn't good. Please ignore the comment above, no idea what he's going on about. Buy ground coffee from your supermarket, any type about 3-4 strength. Then buy a Bodum French press or bialetti Moka pot. I'd suggest a bialetti Moka pot, it will last you a lifetime and make great coffee.

If you care about how your coffee tastes, yes. If you simply tolerate drinking it just for the caffeine boost, no you won’t notice/appreciate the difference.

Is it possible to make milk coffee by pouring milk and sugar into it
@TheHappyHighАй бұрын
Best to add it separately. Easier to clean

can't we simply boil in a sauce pan and strain with channi!?? as a student it's a bit difficult for me to buy french press
@TheHappyHigh Жыл бұрын
You could. First boil water let it cool a bit add, add coffee and stir, strain when ready
@siddarthchoudhary253810 ай бұрын
You should never heat up coffee in a pan, that is what causes the burnt taste, always heat up the water and let i cool down to when it is almost luke warm and then add it to the coffee and let it sit for 30 secs so the coffee can aerate, don’t stir instead shake, then just strain it. This way you minimise the bitterness and burnt aftertaste.
@siddarthchoudhary253810 ай бұрын
And don’t reheat coffee ever, after the whole process if you want milk in it, just heat up the milk separately and add it to the coffee mixture you created
