I use the IKEA brand press too. After pouring in the boiling water, make sure to mix the coffee grounds with a spoon. Then cover it with the cap but don't press until after the brewing time (4, 5 or 6 mins). Now you'll love the taste even more regardless what brand you used. Great video and clear instructions.

@@Veronica_1111 When I started to use the press, I just poured the hot water over the grounds, but got tips to stir the grounds for even flavour and easier to plunge down. Otherwise no stirring, it stays floating at the top and not only you won't get the full flavour while brewing, it's also harder to plunge down.

You forgot to wait a minimum of 4 mins for the coffee to get to your best taste. Start at 4 mins and go more for stronger coffee.

I messed up I placed the coffee in the strainer and then added the water , I wondered why I had grounds in my coffee…I paid $9.99 they make great gifts, I take it on vacations along with the IKEA coffee. I should have watched your video prior, thanks.

Pronounciation was almost right! The Upp was pretty much correct, but hetta is ‘he’ like hen without the n, and ‘ta’ like ta-ta :D

Thanks for all of the advise but you could have use just a little bit of water to get the glass hot!!! I cannot believe you just waste all the water!!
