That's an awesome looking buck - not an old deer, but really cool, tall rack. He'd be a great accomplishment with a bow. Seems his front left leg is pretty badly injured. One small suggestion: Perhaps on some of those observation shots let the viewers know the approximate distance. With zoom lenses there's no way for the viewer to know, and IMO knowing the distance makes watching more fun. Thanks for another excellent video, Catman!

Awesome been waiting for these first videos. I've been out a couple times. My nephew and I went this evening Oct 1. I saw one doe, and that got me motivated. I'm going to a known big buck area Sat Oct 2. I got a long steep hike first thing in the morning here in East Tennessee. Good luck!

Personal opinion but from my hunts I've had deer go out of the way and come to persimmon trees and walk straight through oak trees without stopping to eat eat oaks and load up on persimmons.

If you had to choose to use a tree stand or saddle for the rest of your hunting career which would you choose?
