They're basically right. You can go fairly fast, and not be a threat on the road. You just have to make sure to give yourself a lot of fudge room, so no matter what happens, you have time to stop safely without hitting anything. We see this on the interstate all day, every day, across the country. People do 80 in a 65 all day long without any crashing, so long as they keep a good space cushion around their own vehicle, and look far enough up ahead to detect slowing traffic BEFORE they would have to consider 'jamming on the brakes'. They see problems and slow down BEFORE there's any kind of emergency need to do it. The idiot weaving in and out of traffic? They're usually running right up on people's rear ends and steering to dodge people... and sooner or later, they're going to bugger up and nail someone.

Yep. Even for a guy assigned to full-time traffic duty, that's a lot of pens. I'm also surprised that they allow beards. When I was a patrol cop, we had to be clean-shaven. Only exception is if you had a medical condition. Even then you had to trim it close. That said, policing is regional. Maybe that's how they do it in FL. Hopefully, the property section issues them. I didn't want to touch my cuffs after they were in contact with most people who wore them. Way too expensive to be disposable. What I really like about this officer is how he is always professional and courteous even when he has to reprimand or even charge someone. He's fair and just as nice to people he lets go. Excellent people service skills! 👏 😊

so awesome to see an officer with this type of attitude, esp after knowing what's going on with the person he pulled over. all police officers could learn a thing or two from Fridays With Frank. thank you for being a good person that has the authority to not be a good person.

I think every single police academy should show this guys videos on how to interact with people, and how to treat people if that were the case policing would be so much better in America

Out of all the police content I watch, Frank's videos are always the most wholesome to watch. I admire his attitude, and how caring he is about the people's safety before anything else in his job. It's clear what his focus is in life. There's good people in law enforcement, I truly believe he is one of the good ones. He also has no problem at all making examples out of people if they don't show respect for the laws he's sworn to uphold. That's what makes me like him.

@@scarecrow_9895 If a cop gives out traffic tickets i assure you they deal with dirtbags. A few names you may recognize arrested from simple traffic stops. Ted Bundy, Timothy Mcveigh, Joel Rifkin. I hate giving them notoriety but they were all picked up on traffic charges.

@@jasonpearce6322 that is silly, so you think a traffic cops life is in more in danger than being a cop in a sht hole place like Minnesota? You are a damn fool.

Frank ought to be in charge of training all the officers in the state on how to treat people with dignity and how to not escalate. Fewer citizens would be hurt of killed and more people would be less afraid or aggressive towards cops. This guy was going to prison for assaulting an officer. When approached as a human being, he gave Frank no problems at all.

Plus the couple was in that weedy mellow vibe, which actually does qualify as impaired to conduct a vehicle, though usually calm. It's a good way to let people be compliant, submissive, dumbed down. Though potheads can be aggressive as well, not sure if it's because of all the bad weed or when don't have any, or just such messed up heads that there isn't any calm mellow.
