TL;DR EA: microtranactions Bethesda: glitches

I figured out why alot of these companies have conferences in these theaters and yet still have half-assed shows. Its basically because they sign year ahead of time regardless of know what content theyll show, the reason they wont cancel the auditorium session is because if they do, they get bumped to the back of the list for upcoming use for the next few years...

EA and Bethesda embarrassed themselves this year, more than I could've ever expected.

I'd have to say this is pretty much spot on. Only solid showings were from Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1. Bethesda's conference looked like someone was trying to build the plane as they flew it.

It really breaks my heart how fast Titanfall died, because it's probably my favorite multiplayer FPS. Titanfall 2 will have a single player campaign, and I'm elated. This is exactly what it needed, in my opinion.

They did show a one hour long live stream of Battlefield 1, so to say they didn't show gameplay is false, however you probably meant that they didn't show any gameplay during the presentation and not afterwards.

The only thing that I liked from EA was Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1, as for Bethesda...for shame.

Really so far my most anticipated game this year is battlefield 1

I really liked EA's conference. Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 are the games I am most looking forward to. Battlefield 1 squads was amazing the even the pre alpha could pass as a finished game with from what I saw very minimal bugs. Then again this was showed at a conference so I'm staying cautiously optimistic but still. I'm excited.

Bethesda/Zenimax didn't have shit because they plan to milk Skyrim and ESO for another year before they announce TES VI.

EA tried a cameo of Zac Effron and Jamie Fox to promote Battlefield 1 which Jamie Fox is a good actor but what was the point of that?

Ea was so shit, I feel like they should've just skipped it this year like Nintendo did, hell, Nintendo could've showed more without even preparing and it would've been a lot more interesting.

Was anyone really expecting anything good from EA.

Interested in seeing more of Prey, especially with how good Bethesda's reboots of Wolfenstein and Doom were. I had a lot of the same problems with Dishonored as Razorfist (too much superpowered nonsense, shitty core stealth mechanics) but I'm trying to hold out hope for the 2nd game. Other than that, not very impressed with Bethesda but I didn't really hate it. Didn't bother watching EA, I gave up on them a long time ago.

I was hyped for E3 but these conferences were a joke, especially EA.

Whoever is directing the new Prey 2 fucking ruined it. The leaked trailer showed the character being a bounty hunter in space years ago. Instead now we get what seems to be a shitty corridor shooter with super duper spooky elements. Not to mention Prey stood out with the design of the environments and the main character being a native american. Now it is probably going to be generic B movie hero in generic future.

EA is insane. They treat their sports franchises like toilet paper. Why are you advertising this? People know what toilet paper is. Even the people who like those games don't need to know what you are doing and anyone that doesn't know about toilet paper probably has a wide leafed bush they like already.

You must be excited that we get to play for charity in EA games this week though right? Not for starving children or cancer patients...pfff Nah. Those people don't need anything. We get to play for feminism!

The overall themes for these two conferences were under prepared and they didn't care. EA just sat there and thought they were way to important. How the hell do you not only not do your conference of where E3 is at. Brag about doing not one but two conferences from London and LA. Just to give us the status quo of what your company is known for. You want to know about star wars and mass effect no, we still have shooters and sports to shove in your face. Then Bethesda it was nothing but updates galore with three to four games to sweep under the rug. If that was not enough Dishonored 2 was beautiful. But the gameplay portion was nothing but, overkill. Which meant to really show the message of Bethesda had nothing really to show or say I don't give a fuck like EA did. The funny part about this is that now we have to rely on Microsoft to really kick things off. That is if they can keep it together and not have anything else get leaked.

"I'm still stoked that we're finally getting a world war one game" Except it now appears that we aren't. It's some bullshit "alternate reality" with mostly unrealistic weapons (ADD kiddies can handle single shot rifles). Oh, and if they aren't adding 2/3rds of the major powers in the triple entente (British Empire, France, and Russia) then you can bet your arse that ANZACs, Canadians, and other small forces won't be making an appearance. I mean, fucking hell, they have a supposed world war one game without the French. They're even going full revisionist by having the Harlem Hellfighters as an American force (the real American army abandoned them to French command because they didn't want coloured guys fighting for them).

EA Titanfall 2 and battlefield 1 look really good mass effect Andromeda wanted to see more of the and didn't Bethesda dishonored 2 and skyrim remastered are the only 2 that interest me E3 has been mediocre at best
