Dear lord this video took a long time to make. Sorry to keep you guys waiting, sometimes I need to take commissions which keep me from my own art projects. Now if you'll excuse me I'll finally be able to go and play Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity. (FINALLY!) I'm so happy that I have that moment with my shark now forever on this channel =)

I’ve been using 3D software for over a decade and I don’t think there is anything wrong with using simple cubes to block in a scene for a paint over. Beautiful artwork BTW, as always!

Your enthusiasm and love for your craft is so contagious. I love how I don't feel "jealous" of your talent, because you're so inclusive. I watch other YT artists and don't feel like I've learned anything about the processes. I watch you paint and how much you love it and I remember why I do art. It's so simple - thank you :) edit: I take that back, I'm jealous of your snow and that you have an adorable dog.

As a game graphics student, I have to work with 3D as well 2D (Blender is the best app!!). I have worked with 2D for so long but after studying 3D, it is surprisingly hard! But also fun! Got super inspired from your video, I might try this too! Thank you :)

As an absolute beginner, I will probably need a decade to get to the basics of 2D, before I reach out to 3D stuff, Anyway, I loved watching this vid. (Btw., did Vivi like biting the snow?)

Nicely done, Layers are a God send so it is ok for them to be Biblical in size. I used tons of layers in my pixel art too.

This doesn’t really have anything to do with the video subject matter, but I wanted to know if you use a matte screen protector for your iPad or what’s your general opinion on them? I’m a newbie with digital art and I’ve heard an abundance of mixed reviews about them. I’m obsessed with your videos by the way, they’re so therapeutic to watch! ☺️

I don’t use them, it’s harder to paint with more friction.

Hey Mikko, I cant find any info on this anywhere, so I figured you might know! But how do you handle your files for posting, I've noticed with procreate whenever I post direct from there the colors are always wonky and I was just wondering if there was a good method for getting it close to what I'm seeing in procreate. I've turned to editting in photoshop express before posting, but its not always perfect either haha. If you have any advice that would be great! Thank you!

I always add a bit of sharpen in the iPhone photo app. Make sure your colour profile isn’t in CMYK if you’re making art for screens.

Whenever I’m doing a technical tutorial they’re usually real time for clarity. Also all my livestreams are still on this channel.

There are literally dozens now \o/ the new ones have a better sound setup than when I started. They’re also direct screen footage so feel free to steal any of my palettes 🎨 with a screenshot.

Wouldn’t you consider a paint along so we can follow you with the same brush and pallet there’s a lot of you tubers do that I just rather do your style

I did one of those streams but I don’t think anyone actually painted with my palette at the same time so might be some time before I try it again. (Maybe my community just isn’t big enough yet for that stuff) I don’t mind sharing my palettes and brushes but I don’t think it’s a good use of anyones time to recreate a same painting I have already done. I’d much rather see what all of you guys paint and see you develop your imagination and voice at the same time. Sorry if that’s not what you meant but I just wanted to be clear on that. None of my art classes are about how I paint either. My role as a teacher is to help my students build images and solve visual problems. It would be pretty selfish of me to waste their time by showing how I paint as it has nothing to do with how they need to approach art.

OMG! The Art Police are not real?! I have lost so much time, and so many ideas never got done because I am too often worried about the Art Police! It seems silly now, but why do artists even think about such things?!
