I have been pushing myself personally with goals. I was averaging $2000 a month then covid hit for 2 months sales dropped by 75% now I have a starting goal of listing 10 items a day and if I sell 5 that day I have to list 15 so no matter what I'm expanding and not having a store stuck at the same amount of listings which has been a problem. Since I've started this a week ago it has already brought in $800 this week and I expect that to grow every week. Thank you for all the disciplinary videos, its kicked my butt into gear lol

@@dailyrefinement How do you decide the price you will sell an item for, can you get in to the philosophy of that? Psychologically, I don't want to make less than double on any given item, but I also recognize that sometimes it might make sense to profit less just cause the item is so popular and its what everyone wants and I can still make good money on it without making double. Thoughts?

I have been with eBay since October of 2019. I have 88 items listed and my sales are sometimes about 3 items a week. Long story short profit was in the 7 digits at that rate. I left that company 2 months ago and started my own liquidation business and doing 30-40 orders per day already. Sourcing people! It is completely possible, selling 70-90+ items a week to make 2.5-4k a week in gross sales. Not Necessarily a definite 2-3 year commitment for all, depends entirely on time & the hustle & sales experience of the individual. I know people less than 6 months in doing 1300-2000+ a week. I personally abandoned my college degree, because it's way more profitable. Just got to keep the hustle alive. Other than that I really enjoyed your video & advice, keep doing you! CJ.

Hi, really enjoyed the vid! Just wondering how you get you’re inventory for one of items? For example how do you find what you know will sell
@NoName-6424 жыл бұрын
I have been selling on Ebay for 3 years and I am still figuring this out. It is baby steps. I used the 50 free items for like a year thinking that was going to do something lol. Then I moved up to a basic store which I still have. I have a full time job, and I have a young child, so I am trying to find balance. It is true when you list more you sell more. When I dont list for a few days sales stop. But its crazy I will list a few items and stuff starts to sell. I am trying to get to a replenish stage. I just have not figured out the items to replenish yet. The last 90 days I have done about $3800 in sales. My best 90 days yet. I only dedicate a few hours a week. That is a combination of sourcing. Not on replenish. I spend a small amount to thrift, but alot on toys because the toys are new, familiar brands, and I get them shipped to me. Small margin on toys, but large margin on thrfting. Also, thrifting is alot of time and driving. You motivate me to find the replenish item I need for regular sales! Now watching you I will be more systematic. My part time magic number is $50 a day consistently. Then, $100 consistently. Your great man! BTW people reading this need to understand you have to spend money to make money. My first year I wasted alot of money buying the wrong items, so it costs to learn. Be prepared to spend. I am just learning how to buy better items to sell. Some items take awhile to move and some don't. Success takes time!

It is like I spoke it into existence. I have been listing a few items everyday since my original post and it is slowly getting better! Woo hoo! Mind over matter!

New subscriber here. Good video. I can't imagine going mostly boxless. Good goal for non-breakables. Regarding USPS Tyvek envelopes, my current understanding is that USPS Cubic prohibits using USPS provided packaging. EBay supply store does have a 12x15 which I have been using instead. Most other poly mailers in that general size (on uline, etc. ) are 12.5x15, which bumps the Cubic Tier. I know the USPS Tyveks are also a great sub 27" combined size, and you can't beat free for pricing. Have you ever gotten any guidance from the post office indicating they are permitted?

My current profit per item I sale is around $13. I would have to work 24/7 to be able to reach that type of income. I have been finding and listing items that have a much higher resale value $30 minimum. At my current sale through rate it would take like 5k items to reach the 6 figure mark. Am I correct in my thinking or is there something I am missing. Everyone keeps saying that it is nearly impossible to make 6 figures with out additional help so I feel like maybe I am missing something in my thought process.

So I tell him that he wrong and show him on the USPS website. After that he tells me I am not allowed to tape the ends down of the paper envelope and the top and bottom of the envelope has to be creased can not make into a box. Now the USPS website says nothing that I cant tape ends down even I cant cut them or cut the flap down. I did not alter or cut the damn envelope I just made it look nice. My panites were in a bunch after that who makes the rules the postal workers or the USPS web site?

Charity shops are less popular than the states I’ve heard

I live in UK mate. Go to charity shops!! Because of people over buying during lock down.. There has been some gems! I have found ps4 games for £1, some colourful glass wear for 0.75P each and sold for £14.99 plus shipping and hats seem to be popular :)

Thank you for the video! It was awesome. Out of curiosity, how much is the total cost of shipping for those 80 items? I'd like to know how much do you spend on shipping if you're to offer buyers free shipping when shipping out so many items like you do? I know shipping cost is dependent on various variables but more or less an estimate.
