HAMMOQ was a nightmare. All of my shoes were listed with errors. None of the VAs were trained, nor did they have any basic knowledge of shoes. Tennis shoes listed as “oxfords”, etc. HAMMOQ just hires VA’s you could have hired through a VA firm, then marks up the rate.

The only answer to making it in reselling is post listings and make sure they are quality items. Be organized and do what laws require for a business. Stay positive

Hey Chris. Great Videos. How many items do you have stored in each box? I do all clothes. Just seems if you put to many in there they would be hard to find.

You offer terrific insight and ideas in your videos. I'm still trying to figure out how you do a spreadsheet, photos, measurements and description and can list an average of 17 items in an hour. That's about three minutes per listing. I definitely need to work on my listing process.
@starlaross81514 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry, I just realized that was the listing prepwork. And then your VA does the actual listing from there, so it's a little more time for the entire listing process.
@dailyrefinement4 жыл бұрын
it's around 7 minutes per item if I do everything start to finish. Great question Starla. so maybe 7-8 per hour.

Best content on KZfaq! How do you shoot photos of your suit jackets? Do you use a mannequin or just a hanger? Do you pre-box your suit coats or package them when they sell? Thanks

@clayscloset26184 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the good info. I vote Steve the Steamer or even Stephanie the Steamer. Does Hammock create a listing as SellHound would, ie use the pics you send to put it together? If so I need to look into using them and maybe not use SH once I run out of those and not use List Perfect. Hope all is well with the family.
@dailyrefinement4 жыл бұрын
Yes, like sellhound, but all categories

Daily Refinement thanks so much for replying. I’ll check it out and drop the others then as I’m mostly on EBay then posh and some fbmp and offer up but I can do that. This will help for sure and give me more confidence. All baby steps as I say and you say the 1% same idea. Tryin to be more like you and Rnzy and one of my best friends Brian who is part of your calls this spring and some summer.

Question: You said you put in item specifics while you’re taking photos in your photo box. Later in the video you said you have the VA put in all the specifics for you. Are you creating the draft with SKU, condition, weight, price then? Always love your advise!

There’s about 7 item specifics I fill out, they do the rest

Does Hammock actually list??? Or just create drafts? And do you figure out the weight? Or just use flat rates & apply based on experience?
@dailyrefinement4 жыл бұрын
They list direct for me, I enter in the weight

What are your thoughts on using a shipping fulfillment center? Pros and cons?
@dailyrefinement4 жыл бұрын
Depends on your goals
@dmac9104 жыл бұрын
@@dailyrefinement Well, I don't mind sourcing and listing. Most of my listings are new athletic shoes so I can expedite listing by using the sell similar function. However, shipping takes up my times packing and shipping everyday. Hard to take a break or vacation. Watching your videos I was thinking about hiring someone to help me ship on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I wanted to get your opinion about hiring part time people or using a fulfillment service. Their shipping cost appears to be $2-3 cheaper than what I'm currently paying through Ebay. Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts :)
