A native of Kodagu, Manoj Thammaiah missed the authentic meaty flavours of Coorg in Bengaluru. And so he set up a street cart to cook and sell pork based dishes in the evenings, whilst holding a job in an export firm during the day. That was seven years ago. Encouraged by the steady, encouraging response of customers over the years, he has now given up his job and expanded to a tiny shop, Coorg Style Pork Corner, in BTM 2nd Stage, Bengaluru where he and his wife cook delicious preparations to recipes from their home. I dropped in impromptu one afternoon to taste most of what they have to offer. If you love pork, certainly a place to visit someday.
