Bangalore is no way better. The only consolation is most of the good restaurent in Chennai serve good tasty food which is far lagging in Bangalore city, of late. Seeing the left overs in the plates by customers.😊😊

Thanks Kripal for video. Yesterday I had nice breakfast at Deepu Gaadi. Had Thatte Idli, Masala Dosa and Shavige Bath. Good/tasty food. Deepu was too busy and especially there were too many requests for Dosa!. Actually it was bit of challenge to due to over crowding. However they had token system and calling out nos!. Probably Deepu can make slightly longer counter and have someone else also into serving( as he was struggling alone), I could see some frustrated waiting for longer time. But for crowd management, it is a nice to place to have breakfast.

Recently tasted Shivaji Military Hotel Mutton Biryani, taste declined so much, just a rice mixed with raw garam masala powder ,no flavor. Too much arrogance in serving, unnecessary waiting for an hour and left the biryani without eating even 50%.Kripal ji please stop highlighting such a pathetic biryani!

Still they have improvise the executive lunch ..with more dishes.. but pricing is high .. still authentic dishes. Fits the platter .. no doubt snacks r really osm .

South kanara food has three streams Konkani shivalli and Kota Brahmins. While Udupi Mangalore chefs have migrated to Mumbai Hyderabad Chennai Bangalore Kota Kundapur chefs have gone ghattada mele to thirthahalli Shimoga to bayalu seeme up to Bellary raichur.

Taj is the best hotel, shivaji military hotel unfortunately of late has lost its quality and service. Shivaji military hotel is just hyped to non locals.
