Power cards are effective each and every turn. Cards that only work one turn are categorized as skill cards. Just something to keep in mind.

Not really. Pressure Points can stack damage pretty effectively, especially if you have multiple copies (I think he saw like three or for offerings for it). And it is damage that doesn't care about Wrath, so you're not tempted to take double damage if you can't get out of wrath in time. Granted, a Pressure Points deck needs to be focused around Pressure Points, which means a lot of deck manipulation, so taking plenty of Scry ability is a bonus, because the sooner you can get back around to Pressure Points, the faster the damage scales. But it's totally viable.

@@ShneekeyTheLost if you fight the slaver elite fight, champ, and time eater same run, you are boned. Ive definitely won with PP decks, but in low ascension, where everything goes. In high ascension, you need really good luck or an absurdly potent deck. Otherwise, its best to just slot one or two PP's on a regular defensive deck, with something like the Smite power (however its called) and retain divinity (either mantra or blasphemy)

Often Watcher wants multiple stance changes because of stance change powers and reliably being able to switch from Wrath back to Calm. So it's not unreasonable to have multiple stance change cards with slightly different effects. Although, I wouldn't call Blasphemy at all similar to the Wrath-Calm seesaw since Divinity is a very different stance that is temporary -- and "die next turn" is, ahem, a bit of a drawback, although it can be stopped by intangible.

It comes from a verse in the bible. "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” Also animal hierarchy uses this too. Alpha is the dominant member of the group. Beta is the 2nd in command. Omega are the down on the bottom of the society.

As with nearly all cards, it depends on your deck. Though this one depends a bit more on a fitting deck than most other cards.

Signature Move does the job of dealing large amounts of single-target frontloaded damage while in Wrath. The time you most need single-target frontloaded damage is in act 1, especially for the Elites. The problem with that is that you frequently draw it with two Strikes and can't play it, so it's only good if you have a way to fix that problem. Usually that means it can be good if you already got some card removals from events but haven't found other damage cards yet, or if you swapped your starting relic and got 4 energy so drawing it with two Strikes is still okay, or if you have enough stance switching cards that you can semi-consistently go from Calm into Wrath on the turn you play it. The other case where it can be good is if you choose Astrolabe or Pandora's Box and end up with a deck with few attacks in it; in that case, you simply don't remove it. There are probably other scenarios that I'm not thinking of off the top of my head. Some important antisynergies are with Conclude and with Carve Reality and/or Battle Hymn; these are excellent early damage cards, so Signature Move often gets shoved to the wayside by something better or by simply having taken other attacks already.

It's hard to play it when you have retained attacks. I've had a good deck with one signature move as a major source of damage beat the heart on a20 recently, but omniscience deva form was involved.

The enemies would just block the damage anyway so it is pointless attacking
