Welcome to Assembly to Annihilation, a new series by The Disgustingly Resilient Podcast! This series is focused completely on brand new players to Warhammer 40,00 or people new to Death Guard starting their collection. These shorter videos are here to help people learn how to start their collection good ways to expand their forces and tips and tricks for your first games of Warhammer 40k! In this episode we talk about expanding our combat patrol to our first 1,000 point list and some different ways to take it and some great units to pick up!

One thing to consider is... If you've finished the combat patrol, might as well play some combat patrol mode to learn the game while assembling the next 500 points to 1000

Love the content lads. I’ve been playing a 1000 point Crusade list and it’s been doing great! LoV with a brick of 6 DST… save cp for overwatch and watch units fall before their onslaught

I needed this video! Today i played my first ever 40k game with DG. We played combat patrols and Typhus killed a tank and a space marine psycker. Was good fun. My plague marines abused those primaris. 😄

Congrats! I hope in the Codex we get the abilities from the Combat Patrol so one can DeepStrike Typhus with Poxwalkers.

As I have just started to play my Death Guard in 10th edition and just had one game in 9th this was pretty helpful to get some insight what combinations work well (rapid ingress on DST and these things). Really informative, keep it up!

9:20 Can someone explain, how can Typhus lower the enemy's WS with 1 and also use the -1 from the faction ability. The rules state that you can't modify hit roll more than -1.

Typhus modifies the melee hit roll -1. The detachment modifies their weapon skill -1. Those are different
