LOS ANGELES - London "Zel" Carter was a Blood Alley member in 1968 when he was a student at Foshe Junior High School during the last stages of the gang's identity, but as soon as that gang faded from the scene, a new gang replaced it, Hoover Park Family. By High School at Manuel Arts, they were hanging out at the Park, learning karate and hanging out in the West Adams area.

Johnny Pastrami! They give enough pastrami for a whole notha sandwich. I didn’t live to far from there, on Norton. Adams to the North, Jefferson to the South, Crenshaw to the west. Grew up over there in the from 86-94. Nice neighborhood. Went to Foshay for minute, among other Junior highs. Good interview
